[LFP][D&D 5e][Homebrew][18+][Free] Friday nights 6-10/7-11 EST

I'm looking for a couple of players to fill in some spots in a homebrew campaign I'm DM'ing. We play on Friday nights and have just struggled to keep a consistent group of players. The party just got to a natural waypoint, so it's a convenient time to switch gears and reconfigure the party a bit. I think its a fairly balanced campaign thus far, with typical high fantasy themes. I'm always open to adjusting the game a bit based on player feedback so the more I know about what you are looking for, the more likely you will be satisfied with the campaign. This campaign is homebrew and built on the fly, so there is lots of room for you to build out your character's backstory, and drive the campaign towards things you'd like your character to do. If you are free on Friday nights and would like to join a long-term campaign with a level 5 character, please fill out the following and either reply or send me a Direct message. Feel free to include any questions as well. Name (whatever you'd like to be called while out of character): Age: RPG experience, including any experience as a GM: If you had 100 points total to allocate to the following, how would your ideal game be balanced? (example given) Exploration:  25 Roleplay: 45 Combat:   30 What else do you like about D&D or RPG's? Are you able to attend sessions on Friday nights with frequent regularity? If you do need to miss a session, are you able to give reasonable notice? What aspects of D&D/Roll20 are your strong suits? What aspects of your D&D/Roll20 game could use some improving? If you have a character concept, feel free to list it out here. If not, can you have one prepared by Wednesday?

But, Real Talk, I'm legally disabled and do have health complications once every so often so that's why it's at 80% If you do need to miss a session, are you able to give reasonable notice? Also Yeah I could easily have one done by wednesday if I get a message by tomorrow. I usually take a day or 2 for backstory.
Name (whatever you'd like to be called while out of character): Sean Age: 31 RPG experience, including any experience as a GM: Been playing Dnd and Pathfinder for 4 years. What aspects of D&D/Roll20 are your strong suits? -Fairly knowledgeable on rules, character creation. What aspects of your D&D/Roll20 game could use some improving? -Never used Roll20 before unfortunately but looking to learn and get into it. I moved to an area with limited gaming groups so this is my only real option so want to learn as much as I can. If you have a character concept, feel free to list it out here. If not, can you have one prepared by Wednesday? -Yes. There is a few options I’d like to play depending on your current campaign. Right now the one I’m leaning towards is a Forest Gnome Path of the Storm Herald Barbarian.

As soon as I know, I'll give notice. What aspects of D&D/Roll20 are your strong suits? Everything roll20-related could use some improvement, though I am trying to learn more. If you have a character concept, feel free to list it out here. If not, can you have one prepared by Wednesday? I have a few concepts running through my mind and I can absolutely have one prepared by Wed. I'd need to know a little more about the world and group to get an optimal character, though.

Name (whatever you'd like to be called while out of character): Thramden Age : 52 RPG experience, including any experience as a GM : Yes (D&D about 2 years) (Yes about a year) If you had 100 points total to allocate to the following, how would your ideal game be balanced? (example given) Exploration: 30 Roleplay: 35 Combat:  35 What else do you like about D&D or RPG's? I enjoy playing as a group, seeing everyone else's personality and the challenge to build a team that can compliment each other during and epic storyline. Are you able to attend sessions on Friday nights with frequent regularity? Work and life permitting, more likely than not I can be consistently regular. If you do need to miss a session, are you able to give reasonable notice? Yes. What aspects of D&D/Roll20 are your strong suits? The ability to play in a team and above all, have fun! What aspects of your D&D/Roll20 game could use some improving? D&D - Better threat/social assessment (Have a bad habit of getting my PC in trouble) Roll20 - Completely new to it, need to play at least once :) If you have a character concept, feel free to list it out here. If not, can you have one prepared by Wednesday? I'd prefer to know the group before choosing class/background - However, as far as concept goes it would probably be a cleric/paladin, lawful good, brought up in a stable household dedicated to the clan/order, definitely a dwarf, middle age (200 something years), rough around the edges but with a kind heart, fearless fighter and defender of the weak, interested in becoming a brewmaster and opening a tavern after retirement. After all, fighting the good fight requires nourishment and refreshments :)
Name: Bianca Age: 19 RPG experience, including any experience as a GM: About 3-4 years of DnD 5e as a player. If you had 100 points total to allocate to the following, how would your ideal game be balanced? (example given) Exploration:  25 Roleplay:  50 Combat:   25 What else do you like about D&D or RPG's? I love the experience of cooperating with a group of players! It feels great to feel like we're all contributing to progressing a story, or that we're all working off each other's strengths to get through combat. Are you able to attend sessions on Friday nights with frequent regularity? I have a lot of free time during evenings/nights, so I'm confident can consistently show up. If you do need to miss a session, are you able to give reasonable notice? If something comes up that lets me know I may/will miss a session, I do make a point to let DM/players know as soon as I am aware. What aspects of D&D/Roll20 are your strong suits? I'd say roleplaying- I get very into playing up my character, and especially love roping in other characters to join in on banter/conversations and have fun! What aspects of your D&D/Roll20 game could use some improving? I think I could always improve my deductive reasoning. I don't usually make Intelligent characters for that very reason, I'm pretty bad at puzzles/riddles that require critical thought. If you have a character concept, feel free to list it out here. If not, can you have one prepared by Wednesday? I'm usually the type that prefers to get to know a group and their party composition (and strengths/weaknesses) before making character. Although, I am pretty good at throwing character sheets together after I have a vague idea of my character concept :) I could definitely have one by Wednesday if given more details about the setting/party a bit prior.
