Initiative Not Rolling Properly

As of today, initiative for not only my characters but the characters of other players on my server are not working as they should. Instead of rolling a d20+mods, it is now rolling some odd formula and producing results that do not match. Essentially rolling completely randomly and adding nonsensical modifiers. No changes have been made to the server or sheets since yesterday when they worked properly. Below is a screenshot of the incorrect formula and results. For context, this roll was for a character with a -1 modifier, and so the 13 rolled should have resulted in a 12. This formula was the same for characters with other modifiers, including positive ones, as well.
Hey there, getting the same problem here, did a little playing around and looks like the + is coming from the players wisdom modifier and completely ignoring anything in the Initiative box or in the sheets settings regarding bonuses to Initiative.

The theory of Wisdom modifier being added instead doesn't mesh with my results. I just rolled for a character with +0 Wisdom and +2 Dex, but ended up with that weird formula and +4 modifier.
Had a bit more of a look, mine is definitely rolling based on wisdom, tried amending stats and only wisdom is affecting it and it's consistent so no idea why the difference between ours. However I have noticed all the skills now roll with this formula but do use the correct modifiers. Using DnD 5e sheets.

Since I'm not seeing any issues with other sheets in my games, you might want to post in the d&amp;d 5E thread, and give a link back to here.&nbsp; I'm pretty certain this is a sheet specific issue.&nbsp;&nbsp; <a href="https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8033570/d-and-d-5th-edition-by-roll20-q1y2020" rel="nofollow">https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8033570/d-and-d-5th-edition-by-roll20-q1y2020</a>

An update was just released today, so that's very possible.
We're having the issue in our game too.&nbsp; Some people getting advantage, some getting higher bonuses, some lower.&nbsp; All wrong.

hey, i had this problem, I added a bunch of stuff to the attribute modifiers... weirdly when i added a bunch to the wisdom modifier it actually affected the initiative roll, it did not however affect the initiative stat shown in the sheet though. edit: so my sheet is adding wisdom for the roll and not adding dex at all, but on the sheet it is adding dex to the stat modifier and not adding wisdom at all.

223x106 (Original: 223x106) 223x106 (Original: 223x106) I just checked some of the code for the initiative button (F12), and it seems to have something to with the survival skill. For me at least. I had +1 wis and no prof in survival, so the code came up with d20+1 (paraphrasing), then i turned on prof for survival, and as a lvl 3 character that is +2 prof bonus, and sure enough, it came up d20+3 (paraphrasing).

Can confirm, it is definitely survival that is being used instead of init mod.
After doing some testing on all the skills in Wisdom and when testing got to Survival it was making it go off survival and not dex for Init.
This has started happening in my game, it's definitely survival for us as well

From another thread: Nicholas &nbsp;said: The initiative and template border issue were not related to today's general outage. However, they have been logged by our team and we'll look to get them resolved as soon as possible. Please&nbsp; follow our D&amp;D 5th Edition by Roll20 &nbsp;for further communication and updates regarding those particular items.&nbsp;
Looks like it's all ability checks.
can def confirm that weird formula is used on all ability checks. Only thing rolling wrong is initiative which is using the bonus to survival&nbsp;

Hello! The previous initiative and roll template formatting issues have been hotfixed , and should be working as expected. However, we're aware of some additional concerns with incorrect roll templates and 'reliable talent' specifically as being a potential cause. We're currently investigating this to determine what updates need to happen. However, to keep things consolidated, we would ask that you please refer to the main D&amp;D 5e Thread for further communications and updates . As such, we're going to have to close this post. Thank you the report and your patience.
