Hello all, my name is Kris, male 33, I have been dming for a couple years now, mainly dealing with Pathfinder, but lately have been dabbling in 5e as it's easier for new players and less boggy during combat. Most of my experience is associated with home brewing content, but I had a friend purchase Storm King's Thunder for me as a gift on my birthday a while back and I would like to try to finally run this for folks. I would like to mention that I am a bit new to the dynamic lighting system, but other than that, I am well versed with using roll20, 5e rules, and general tabletop procedures, so there shouldn't be any issues on my end when it comes to running the game outside of the lighting system and making sure not to miss anything the module throws at me (anyone who has ran a module knows its easy to overlook things). So why should I get paid for this? Or why am I not running it for free like 95% of my other games?  1. Modules involve lots of homework, and Im going to make sure that every detail of this game thats available to me is also going to be available to you, even if that means reading the same chapter 1,000 times.  2. I use voices for every npc you encounter, and I generally try to use different ones for each character. Im not a voice actor by any means, but I put in the effort to make sure you know when Im talking in and out of character. Along with bringing npcs to life, I also try to add in sound effects/audio loops for each map so players can get a better feel for the setting they are in, this may be simple tavern ambiance or epic combat music, either way, it helps a lot in my mind.  3. Im enthusiastic about my games, theres nothing worse than a dm who feels its nothing but work, you wont ever get that from me, I enjoy talking about tabletop day and night. Not to mention I do have a love for creating npc's and random encounters, so this game will most likely be packed with lots of extras most definitely not featured in the base version of this game.  4. I will never miss a session once we set a day, and I expect the players to do the same, especially if it involves money. Ive played in multiple campaigns, and ran multiple campaigns that ended because players wouldn't show up consistently, paying for your game is a pretty good incentive to making sure everyone shows.  This post is to get a feel for if people would be interested, so Im not going to put a whole lot of details out there, but we will be using discord for voice, and roll20 for the game itself.. As for days Im currently open to run, Im pretty available at the moment being involved in only 3 games, so there would be lots of wiggle room to set up a good time for everyone. Session length should definitely last 3-4 hours minimum, and that means game time, as there wont be many distractions for me, and I want you people getting as much for you buck as possible. I havent decided on how much Im going to charge, but I was thinking $10 a session, with session 0 and all character creation stuff being free. Any questions dont be afraid to ask either on here or in pms. Thank you all for those who took the time to read, and as always, anyone who wants to join should know that my games are all-inclusive (LGBT Friendly), bigotry or offensive behavior wont be tolerated. Thanks again!
