Beginner DM needing help with tokens

Hello. I am running a game on roll20 and am trying to create tokens for the characters. I somehow did this before, but now anything I put on the field (even dragging the character image from characters list) is put as only a picture on the board. There are no status bubbles surrounding them. I tried looking at the tutorial, and it did not seem to cover this issue.  Trash Panda

You are likely missing only the final step. After doing all the setup, open the sheet, click the edit button in the upper right, and use the token area to set the selected setu-up token as the default.
