Greetings! We're looking for an experienced DM for a long-term campaign. After rotating through one of the four of us DM'ing for the last few years, we'd love the opportunity to all play together again. We are seeking a roleplay-heavy campaign that focuses on collaborative storytelling, though we thoroughly enjoy combat and exploration as well. We would like to use Roll20 for the game / Discord for voice chat. About us •We are between 23-27 yrs old •We're comfortable with all manners of humor and themes •We have between 4-8+ years of playing/DM'ing each individually •We don't have set characters in mind, and would prefer to work with you on fitting what we build into your narrative or setting •We play by the books and written materials, and prefer not to use homebrewed classes / races / etc. What we're looking for in a DM •Someone 21+ years old, preferably between their 20s-early 30s •Someone with at least 2+ years of experience with 5e and DMing •Someone preferably with a flexible schedule What we're looking for in a game •Weekly play times, 3hr+ sessions •We can pretty much confidently all be free on Saturday nights at / after 9PM EST, but are open to rotating or flexible weekday nights •We're open to a homebrew world/setting depending on the pitch, but are most comfortable with the traditional Forgotten Realms setting •Open to any module in 5E •A fair balance of Combat/Exploration/Roleplaying etc, but with the understanding that we thoroughly enjoy a good campfire chat and do roleplay through our actions/behaviors/traits/etc. •No egregious additions or modifications to the rules as written or intense homebrewing of the rules (though we know every DM has preferred house rules) Tell us a bit about yourself! •Your age •How many years of experience DMing / playing you have (individually) •A snippet of your favorite moment DMing whether it’s from a module or homebrew game •Your favorite npc you had to roleplay or create •If you have a campaign idea, or a module you'd like to run •Your favorite level to start at •Your house rules •Your availability •If you're also interested in being a player in a side game • Your discord tag •Anything else interesting you'd like to share about yourself Please send all information as a Direct Message, or if you have a general question everyone might benefit from please post here.
