Sponsored by the Jade Lion Trading Company, the players have the opportunity to engage in a variety of adventures – some of considerable extent – as they explore the vast jungle spanning the Izhoven river basin. Along their journey they will encounter several heretofore unknown monsters as they make their way to a final confrontation with a rogue agent of the company who has quite possibly gone mad... Details Where: Roll20 with Discord for communication When: Thursday 7-11 EST, Thursday is the best day for me, the time can be changed. Game: Hackmaster 5th Edition Price: $10 per Session via Paypal- Session 0 is Free Group Size: Up to 6 The Game Don't get me wrong, I like D&D. But I didn't know what I was missing until I discovered Hackmaster. It is a low fantasy setting, it means that there aren't magic items hidden in every broom closet, but when you do get a magic item it's got a name and a history. The biggest sell for this game however is the combat. Throw around rounds and turns, this combat is done is seconds. Every action has a speed allowing everyone to go at once, and if a new monster enters the battlefield you can react immediatly. Bigger weapons means more damage but slower speed, smaller weapon is less damage but faster. There is some crunch to this game, but I have been teaching people to play hackmaster for some time now, and we will slowly introduce aspects of the game until we are hacking with the best of them. The DM I have been playing RPG's for around 13 years now, with the last 5 being as a DM. While I play a lot of D&D and am a big fan of Sci-Fi games like Alien, Alternity or Traveller when it comes to Fantasy I love Hackmaster. As a DM I view my job to help the players tell the story they want to tell. It's not my job to be the adversary and I am not trying to kill you, that just happens accidently. Its my goal to run the best game I can and running a paid game helps me bring better resources to the table. If you are interesed, please feel free to message me with any questions or inquires. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $10 per player per session prior to the session Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
