Are u a Smart, Fun(ny), Nice, Patient 5e DM?

Heya - I’m a long time 1e DM, looking to learn up 5e and maybe start running 5e games.  I pretty much know nothing about 5e (hoping its nothing like Stranger Things D&D and more like Big Bang Theory D&D).  I’ve used Roll20 before, but i’m no power user. I’ve got 2 ppl who wanna learn w/me (one is a long time 1e player, the other is my wife, who is fairly familiar w/1e and SUPER familiar w/learning new games and how to crush it at them). What we are looking for is a 5e DM who will assist us in rolling up spanking new 5e characters, and maybe run us through a bug-hunt.  We don’t need “voices” or “acting” - just the facts, ma’am.  We’d like to keep it to just the 3 of us.  We’re a fun bunch, if I’m being honest.  Well, my wife will drive u crazy w/her questions, and my friend will try to outsmart you...but I’m fun! We are U.S./EST.  We can all be in the same room for the session(s). If you’re feeling adventurous and charitable, please give me a holler back! Thanks, Coach
Hello, I have been using 5e for the last few years and gaming for over 30 and would be happy to set up a game for you to peruse rules and run through test scenarios. I am also in the US although in CST, and I have a very flexible schedule. Do you have a day and time you would prefer? If you're interested I will set up a game and invite you all to it.
I wouldn't mind joining in the fun here as a helpful DM or player even. I have been playing since AD&D and I started 5e when it first came out. I do still get some of the rules mixed up at times but I have gotten better about it recently. This just sounds like a fun group of people to play with so let me know if you need any help with anything. I would recommend everybody have and use their own accounts during the sessions so they can start getting used to using roll20. Anyways, good luck!
Just have to say, this roll20 tribe is all right.  Thank so much for your offers of help. if I didn’t have to work a day job to feed my kids, and a part-time night job to feed my soul, I’d be puttin on lederhosen and dancin w/this excellent bunch oftener!
