Hey Joel. First of it's great you guys are getting into D&D, it's a tonne of fun and I would absolutely recommend the hobby as a way to hang out with friends/family no matter the distance between you all. I myself am a professional DM and I am more than happy to point you to my profile to find out more about me, and also you can have a look at my website (in the process of making it so excuse the poor layout) here . On there you can see a bunch of my social media and also testimonials from players I've had. What I will say is that the other posters above me make some good points. Learning to DM is a great way to learn and can be quite rewarding, and there are many helpful people on Roll20 that would help you out free of charge. If that's something any of you are interested in I'd definitely encourage you to pursue it. There's lots of resources available and it's less scary than one might think. However, GMing is a bit of a time commitment, and can be quite taxxing. Furthermore it's not what your post requested, and what I can offer you would be exactly what you are asking for. I can run a short campaign for your group that requires only aa few hours commitment per session, that would allow you all to get to grips with the D&D mechanics whilst enjoying the roleplaying aspect of it. I've worked with a wide range of players with varying ability levels and such, and currently specialise in shorter games known as 'oneshots'. What I'd be suggesting to your group is effectively a couple of sessions taking you through one of these short stories / 'oneshots'. That way you can get a feel for the game, and myself, before deciding whether D&D is something your group wants to continue to pursure, and whether or not I am the DM for you. From here what I suggest you do is check out my wesbite and links, see if I am the right fit for your group, and then let me know. If I am, then just message me by going to my profile and sending me a private message via the website, and we can further discuss scheduling and prices. Regardless of what you decide I wish you all the best in your search for a game and hope you all find D&D and (tabletop roleplaying in general) to be as rewarding to you as so many of us have found it to be. All the best -Billybob
