[LFG] New player, not having much luck applying to games. Thought I'd try the other direction.

Hi! I'm new to playing DnD but I've watched hundreds of hours of Critical Role and really want to try the game. I've read through the PHB and rolled a character just to have one ready, but I'm more than happy to re-roll to better fit a group or setting. For my first game I'd like to play either an official module or a pretty canonical Forgotten Realms homebrew. I want to try a fairly vanilla experience first. I'm looking for a weekly voice-only game that plays on a weekday after 5PM pacific or any time on weekends. I'm west coast US but flexible outside of work hours. Let me know if you think I'd fit in to your group.
Thad, I don't have any games open now, but when I do, I'll check back with you.
Hey, Thad. I have a game for new players happening this Sunday at 2pm EST It's not quite what you described that you're looking for, but it is a oneshot meant to teach the basics of D&D to new players. If you're interested, here's the thread: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8191556/lfp-learn-to-play-5e-oneshot-pst-slash-est
I run a spur-of-the-moment Fey Wilds game. I would love to have you if you ever wish to explore a bit of DND thats unusual and strange. I gear the games towards the players. a good mix of RP and combat. Its very much character driven. if you are interested, DM me here or on Discord at Nox#9348
