5e Character Sheet Proficiency Bonus Modifier

Hey folks! One of my players has acquired an item giving a +1 Proficiency Bonus from an adventure. I'm using the default 5e Character Sheet setup. Unfortunately the item isn't in the compendium, so I'm wondering if there's any way to have the item add +1 to Proficiency Bonus? I know adding things like "AC: 12" on armor increases the armor class of the character so hopefully there's a "code" I can put on this item to add it. I've set it up to use a custom Proficiency Bonus scale to temporarily fix it but don't want to have to manually change it for the player every few levels. Cheers!
Open the settings tab on the page (assuming 5e OGL)--it looks like a gear cog in the upper right corner. In the third column, there is an option for "SHOW GLOBAL SKILL MODIFIER FIELD". Check it to enable the option. Go back to the "Core" tab. In the left column, beneath your Attributes, and Tools, there should now be a section for "Global Skill Modifier". Create a new one with the "+" button, give it a roll of 1 and an appropriate name, and enable the check box to enable it. As long as the check box there is enabled, the character will have +1 to all skill checks. Remove the check box, and it stops.
Good call, but not quite what I needed I'm afraid. The Global Skill Modifier applies to all of the skills, whereas the Proficiency Bonus should only apply to skills that they're proficient in, weapon attack bonus for proficient weapons etc. Doesn't seem to be affected by Rogue Expertise either (which should give x2 Proficiency on select skills). Definitely worth a try, just didn't quite cut it thanks though! :))
