Welcome to Darker Dungeons , a  newly-updated  character sheet compatible with any D&D 5e game! This sheet was built to better support  Giffyglyph's Darker Dungeons  5e ruleset (but can be used easily with any standard 5e game), featuring: A brand new layout and design. 6 carefully laid-out tabs, panels, and options. Full compatibility with any D&D 5e game. Wounds, survival conditions, and stress. Easy equipment tracking using either weight or inventory slots. Options to toggle individual DARKER DUNGEONS modules on and off. Full drag-and-drop compendium support. NPC support. And more. Find it by searching for  D&D 5E (Darker Dungeons)  in the roll20 sheet list. You can also  try out a working preview HERE  to see if it's a good fit for your game. If you have any feedback or discover any issues, please let me know. Thanks! v2.2 Changelog Added open skills to PC sheet. Fixed NPC reactions bug : Reactions now display correctly. Can now edit equipment quantity/slots/notches directly on the equipment panel. Containers can now add extra inventory slots . Items can now be marked as carried-but-not-equipped . Feature details can now be hidden/condensed . Currency names can now be changed.
Hey GiffyGlyph, I read over your rule set a while ago and thought that were a lot of great ideas there.  Certainly reminds me of more deadly/realistic campaigns of D&D I played back in the 90s. Is there any intent/possibility to build charactermancer support for the sheet?  That would go a long way towards getting players to try it out. -Adam

I wrote an API for Darker Dungeons that gives you a randomed character. Though it may be outdated now as I haven't read the newest rules. By no means a charactermancer but its easy to Drag & Drop the results you got.

"The king of madness has spoken! His support brings new hope to our lands.." I have a bug to bring up and some feedback on a feature about features for the mad king himself. Starting with the bug: Edit Equipment ghosting? ===> It appears that when I go into my players sheets some of the equipment blocks go blank, I however can interact with them and they go back to what they should be if I edit an item and then close out of the cog. (Hopefully this doesn't spook my players too bad when they see it. They are very scared of your system as is. Feature feedback: Hide details I feel like the hide details function in the features page is a little hard to use. I'de much rather have a minimize/ maximize function like the Roll20 sheets features, as certain abilities of course are going to be used much more (class abilities and feats) Rather then bringing up darkvision which is very very easy to remember. Feature feedback: Equipping and carrying containers As is right now the feature to be able to carry containers or have containers follow you is a great concept but it is a bit unwieldy to use. As of right now containers are basically separated by other containers. Making container nesting is somewhat difficult of a concept to implement, this can be a mild problem when scaling things up to properties an/or water vehicles which often carry cargo in boxes/crates. Although it could be difficult to implement It would be greatly appreciated. Here is a mockup made of tables to show what I mean: Bag of Holding (Bag- Capacity 6 - Extra slots 6 Waterskin 1 1 0 Ration 1 .2 0 Cart and Horse (Vehicle - Capacity 32) Rations 12 .2 0 Barrel of water (Never understood how to treat this thing as a container. So I had to type it's items into it's description) 1 9 0 Scholars Pack (Bag - Capacity 5) book of lore 1 .2 0 Lockable Chest (locked) (Stash - Capacity 3) Bag of Gold 3 1 0 If this was a feature you could potentially make a mass untoggle the Equipped and the Carried Status which sounds very nice considering I had to do that by hand when this update came out. Feature Request: Notches and Damage Dice At the moment we manually have to edit our damage dice when notches are applied to our weapons, this is annoying for the DM and the Fighter specifically because they must look at their equipment before attacking if their weapon is messed up. Could we have a notch auto tracker or something? Feature Request: NPC Sheet Vertical vs Horizontal Mode A problem I have with the NPC sheet is that It isn't very efficient with it's space. Potential in NPC settings we could allow anybody using the sheet to toggle something like this?: It's very hard to use spell caster this way. And I've just had an encounter using one, I don't want to burn out on using them any time soon either. Feature Request: More Monster Maker Support I have been writing and editing this post for an hour now, Maybe you could branch out into your other mechanics? Paragon actions, Interruptions, Elites, Rarities. There are a lot of stuff you could bring to here. I believe this sheet can become EVEN MORE CUSTOMIZABLE THEN THE 5e SHEET. Imagine that! My feelings about this update: The update grants new features which is very awesome to have and I'm extremely happy to see the sheet being worked on! However, with that said I'de love to see if these features could be further expanded upon and made easier to use when it comes down to more difficult issues. Keep up the great work! -Birb a great fan of Darker Dungeons and the Monster Maker!

First of all, I apologize if this shouldn't be posted here. I learnt about this awesome rule extension thanks to this Character Sheet post and I'm very excited about it, so yeah... :P There's some really good and powerful ideas and tweaks in this and I'll be bringing this to my table soon. Promise. Definitely using the sheet in my next VTT. One thing I really appreciate and I'm going to adopt right away is the Character creation tables. It's perfect for quick play and one-shots. I even made a little macro I'd like to share with everyone who is into this kind of stuff: &{template:default} {{name=Giffyglyph's Character Randomizer}} {{Race=[[1d100]]}} {{Subrace=[[1d100]]}} {{Background=[[1d100]]}} {{Class=[[1d100]]}} {{Specialization=[[1d100]]}} {{Stats=[[3d6]] [[3d6]] [[3d6]] [[3d6]] [[3d6]] [[3d6]]}} {{Details=[[1d100]] [[1d100]] [[1d100]] [[1d100]] [[1d100]] [[1d100]]}} {{Memories=[[1d100]]}} {{Motivation=[[1d100]]}} {{Habit=[[1d100]]}} {{Quest=[[1d100]]}} It's not much but it's better than rolling all those percentile dice one by one. If anyone knows more about writing this stuff they could probably make the results of the d100s link with the appropriate roll tables or something (wink wink) but I'm not really good at this stuff myself. Anyway, thanks a lot for the sheet and awesome variant rules. Keep up the good work!
Hello, forgive me if this was already answered somewhere else or if I'm just not doing it right, but how do you move items into the containers/bags?
Hey, The editing the Default Sheet Settings appears to do nothing to the sheet itself. All of the following are broken. Any ideas on how to fix it? Use Inventory Slots [Giffyglyph's Darker Dungeons] Track your inventory using slots instead of weight. Show Exhaustion [Giffyglyph's Darker Dungeons] Show the exhaustion tracker and effects. Death Save Failures Only [Giffyglyph's Darker Dungeons] Track only death save failures. Show Stress [Giffyglyph's Darker Dungeons] Show the Stress panel, used for tracking your character's mental stress and afflicitions. Show Survival Conditions [Giffyglyph's Darker Dungeons] Show the Survival Conditions panel, used for tracking hunger/thirst/fatigue/temperature.
@Brandon: There must be some kind of conflict in your specific game, those settings modify the core tab as well as the equipment tab. You can see how exactly in the preview he linked in his post.
