[LFG Posting] Day/Time is subject to change based on what works best for the group Open link above and submit an application if interested. Thank you! Like for many of you, Critical Role has been a huge inspiration for me when it comes to how I play D&D. I am not a professional entertainer or voice actor and I don't have thousands of dollars to spend on fancy Dwarven Forge terrain or Wyrmwood dice trays, but the passion that they share for the hobby and for each other is extremely contagious and it has both shaped me as a Dungeon Master and as a person. Now that the world of Exandria is opening up more than ever before, it is a wonderful time to connect with my fellow Critters and join digital hands, especially during these trying times. Join me for an exploration of the world and of ourselves as we dive into our own adventures of Wildemount! Campaign Unlike many listings you might find on this great website, I am not advertising any one specific campaign hook or module. I find that the format I prefer is something that is tailored to my players. This style demands the most of the group but is heavily rewarding for those wiling to put in the time and effort. During the stages of your entrance to this group I will make it a point to ask you questions and engage your imagination to determine where your passion lies and what you wish to see happen in our adventures. Focus The specifics are not defined, but the focus for this campaign is beginning to be made clear as time goes on. This is particularly the case because of the obvious inspiration I hope to pull from, and that is from Critical Role itself. To me, this means the following. Manageable and actionable player backgrounds and personalities. Accepting the world and its threats as a real place in our minds. Player agency both in and out of character. LGBTQ+ representation. I am not Matthew Mercer As much as I wish I had the skill and proficiency that Matt has, the simple fact is that I do not. That's okay! I have my own strengths that I have learned to play off of in my own way of DMing. Matt is a huge source of inspiration for me, but I am not Matthew Mercer, nor should I have to be. Don't worry though, silly voices are guaranteed! :) Expectations Though this is a paid game and I will do my best to provide an experience that is worth your time and money, I expect the following in return. Communication: Stay in regular contact with me and your fellow players. Engagement: Promote action and be prepared. Trust: Understanding that myself and your fellow players are cooperating to promote fairness and fun for the whole group, even if that sometimes means saying no. Pricing This is a paid game. I do not do this for a living so I don't plan on being particularly unforgiving when it comes to money, but the following applies to ensure fairness. Price: Either $6 per session paid within 24 hours in advance or $20 per month. No Refunds: I understand that life happens and things are unpredictable. Unfortunately this is required to protect myself. Benefits Free Character Creation Session: Whether it be with myself or during Session 0. Spectating: If for whatever reason you are unable to pay for a session, you are still welcome to spectate in the discord channel. Requirements In order to join, you are required to have access to the following. Discord A decent Microphone, Webcam and Internet Connection. An Environment that causes Minimal Distractions during game time. 20 years of age or older. Rules No Hate Speech, Racism, Sexism, Homophobia or Transphobia. This is absolutely not tolerated. Two No Call/No Shows within Six Weeks of each other leads to removal from the group. Notice if you expect to be more than 15 minutes late. This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of either $6 per session or $20 per month for each player. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements.
