Give players map access

Is there a way to give a player the ability to edit the map without making them a GM?  My GM doesn't link the grid in Roll20 to the grid in the map and it drives me crazy but he doesn't mind and won't bother to fix it. I'm willing to do it myself, which he would be fine with (he doesn't care either way) but I can't access the map layer and he won't and I wouldn't want him to make me a GM. Can anyone suggest a way for me to fix the map for him without full GM access?
Lazy GM.  If the GM doesn’t care to put in time, the game will likely suck.  That’s my opinion.  I prefer quality to quantity.
And this is why people often post questions to forums without explaining the actual situation.

The only way to get permissions to edit the maps will be to be promoted to GM.  That doesn't have to be a permanent thing, he could allow you the permissions until you have edited the maps and then demote you back to regular player status after.
That's what I figured. Thanks
