[LFP][Pathfinder 2][GMT] Long-term Campaign starting up on Saturday 11:30 am GMT

I'm running a new player friendly Pathfinder 2E campaign from next Saturday at the time listed above. We'll start with the Fall of Plaguestone module, and then work out what to do from then on. I typically prefer running long term, RP heavy campaigns interspersed with interesting combats where each PC's backstory will have a notable role in the overall content of the developing story.  The exact nature of the ongoing campaign is up for some discussion - AP or homebrew. We could potentially change characters after Fall of Plaguestone if people wanted. To apply please post below your answers to the following: Name: Pathfinder 2E/RPG/Roll20 Experience:  What do you look for in an RPG campaign? What do you enjoy about RPGs? Sample character backstory: (Just a brief one, and it doesn't have to be the character you'd be playing in this game.) - If you're new and not really sure what this is all about then leave this blank for now. Are you sure that you're free at the time listed?: Thanks for applying, I'll be sure to get back to you ASAP.
Name: Kasper Pathfinder 2E/RPG/Roll20 Experience: Took part in the playtest, have yet to play the actual thing, but own the books and is doing my own campaign soon. I have close to 15 years experience with RPGs in general, and have used Roll20 on and off since 2012? What do you look for in an RPG campaign?  Room for character growth and RP instances. Interesting combats and NPCs and friendly co-players! What do you enjoy about RPGs? Challenging myself, The RP aspect as well as combat. The whole experience really! Sample character backstory:  The Reikwald family is a minor noble house with not much to its name, and being the fourth child of the family left the young Elliot Dacan Reikwald III with little to inherit. With no real future besides what his, slightly more fortunate, brothers would allow him, he took to a life of adventure, using his dueling skills to get ahead, seeking the glory and gold his name could not grant him. (Human Noble Fighter) Are you sure that you're free at the time listed?:  I am free at the listed time, though in the future I will be having my daughter over every 4 weeks at that time, so if we keep to that time, I might not be able to play, but if we can somehow work around it, I'm in!
Name: Gorlomor Pathfinder 2E/RPG/Roll20 Experience:  Some excellent with D&D 5e. willing to learn Pathfinder for this.  What do you look for in an RPG campaign? I am looking for team RP dynamics. Chrecter sans of advancement.  What do you enjoy about RPGs? I like the feeling of a breathing world and the ways I can impact it.  Sample character backstory: I am groff stadgard. I was nine when the great siege of my town fortress begun. In those15 years in a besieged city I had to lie cheat and steal my way to the next day as a smuggler. In my day to day work I sometimes would hear stories about thelegends of the criminal underground , and from what I can tell I can outsmart the greatest criminals and crown myself King of the underworld.  Are you sure that you're free at the time listed?: Yes, I am free on Saturdays
Name: Rainy Pathfinder 2E/RPG/Roll20 Experience: None in Pathfinder at all. I've played 5E for a while. Used Roll20 to a small bit so I kinda understand it, but I'm gonna need some haha... What do you look for in an RPG campaign: Meeting new people, getting along, talking, making friends. I feel like you need to really beome friends with the people you're playing with. Especially  for long term games.  What do you enjoy about RPGs: Well in terms of table top RPGs I like the people. I'm not really smart haha, so it's always fun to talk to others and see what kind of strategy  they have. I also like the role play even if I'm not the best at it haha. Sample character backstory: Well I'm very flexible . I usually  make 'fun' characters, and by fun I mean they are kind of useless alone ha. I don't know all the classes in pathfinder at this moment or how they function (sorry) so I'll probably  just be simple and go with a fighter or something  similar to that. As for a backstory, it widely  depends on what the worlds setting is, and what class, sorry if thats no help. (Just a brief one, and it doesn't have to be the character you'd be playing in this game.) - If you're new and not really sure what this is all about then leave this blank for now. Are you sure that you're free at the time listed?: I work at home , and have a super flexible  work time, so I'm almost always free at any time unless something really, really important is happening.  Thanks for applying, I'll be sure to get back to you ASAP. Thank you :)

Name: Mac Pathfinder 2E/RPG/Roll20 Experience: A little. Half a campaign in irl that ended about halfway do the the DM moving away.  What do you look for in an RPG campaign? I really like heavy role playing. Making friends and creating a group dynamic and watching that grow. I'm a big fan of puzzles of all kinds. Well thought out combat encounters that require strategy. Good plethora of humorous moments between the serious ones.  What do you enjoy about RPGs? Engaging story lines that challenge the players to work together to form bonds. Finding offbeat solutions to tricky puzzles. The sense of being in a group and working with others. Figuring out how to turn even a critical failure into a success.  Sample character backstory: William was a captain of a small band of misfit smugglers who was betrayed by his Navy contacts who sunk his ship, murdered his crew, and left him to drown. He had given up all hope as he sank to the bottom of the ocean when he heard a voice echo inside his head. One that offered him another chance at life. At power. And if he truly wanted it, revenge. All he had to do was say yes. (Half-elf Lurker in the Deep Warlock). I don't believe this is doable in pathfinder, it was just something I was messing around with.  Are you sure that you're free at the time listed?: Corona has made sure my schedule is clear as day for the next few months.  Hope to hear from you soon! I've been missing dnd a lot lately!
Name:BlackH. Pathfinder 2E/RPG/Roll20 Experience: i roleplay since D&D 3.0, i tried roll20 just few time What do you look for in an RPG campaign? Main world backgroud with our story must be driven by our choise, and no powerplay, the combats must be hard and i love find a lot of magic items:D What do you enjoy about RPGs? to be my character Sample character backstory: Are you sure that you're free at the time listed?: I'm from italy, for me will be 00:30, i'm totally free
Name: Thanos Pathfinder 2E/RPG/Roll20 Experience: I had some old-school D&D 2e experience a while back and now I'm reading up on Pathfinder rules. What do you look for in an RPG campaign? Fun, challenge and camaraderie - in no particular order. What do you enjoy about RPGs? I like the interaction with other people, tactical thinking and being immersed in a fantasy world. Sample character backstory:  Brought up in a small humble village, Amaryll quickly learned how to make a living as a hunter. One day while out in the woods, she saw the river next to the village swell and burst and ran as fast as she could to tell the elders. Having managed to evacuate the village on time before the flood, she gained the respect of her people and gained the confidence to go out, explore the world and make a name for herself. Are you sure that you're free at the time listed?: Yep, Saturday 11:30am GMT works great. Looking forward to hearing from you Stephen.
Name : Rune Pathfinder 2E/RPG/Roll20 Experience: Only skimmed some of the PF 2 srd. Plenty of RPG experience otherwise, mainly D&D (since basic / 2ed). Also quite a few hours as player/dm at roll20. What do you look for in an RPG campaign?  A solid internally consistent world filled with mystery coming to life, with the characters on the center stage. What do you endjoy about RPGs? Exploring the fantastic. Facing tough dilemmas and discuss the possible consequences. Employ creativity in unusual situations (The best combats are those where plain attacks and cantrips are rare). Creating and sharing unique stories with all the other players. Sample character backstory: Third boy in a minor noble family. Brought up in a life of privilege, with access to good teachers. Also got plenty of social networking, as his parents traveled around upholding the bonds helping them stay in power. Unfortunately never got well along with his older brothers, and it was early clear that when the time for his generation would come, he would have to fend for himself. Hence, better to try to get a good start on the independent life while still young and fit. And what better way to learn about the harsh realities of life outside an sheltered upbringing, than to plunge head first into the front lines of the battle against the evils of the world? Are you sure you are free at the time listed? As noon time Saturday is a common time for special events, family gatherings etc, there will be weeks I would find it natural to prioritize down playing. However my current estimate is that this is in my case we are looking at maybe once every other months. What attracts me to this particular posting is both the opportunity to play PF2, that I think seem very promising, but also that the time is probably the least intrusive the entire week with regard to family life. Might note that you don't state for how long you envision to play. For me 4 hours would probably be ideal in this time slot, while more than 5 hours would be stretching it.
