This is more user friendly for using a phone. I think that the game chat logs might expire too, or be very easy to wipe.

Yes, I think this is the place where the game will be played. Positives are that we can spawn as many threads as we want without having to consider other forum users. Negatives are mostly having to jump over to the app for dice rolls. This forum is miles ahead of what I was setting up on the google site - you can see there how far I got, and that didn't have dice rolls at all. The only way to get what we had is to rent a server and install discourse which was honestly prohibitively expensive, and I doubt the £30 a month option I was looking at could actually handle Pendragon. I do like having the built in map as well though - again kind of a pain that it's in the app, but the positive to that is for the most part, we can stick to here and have the text - the heart and core of this game take front and centre stage.

Looks like you can only edit character sheets in the app, not from the external journal page available from the front page. ((GM Edit: I've edited this text in to test editing another players postings - this is how I'll always do it, never deleting text and always adding in to the bottom of the post in double brackets and only if the information cannot be conveyed properly any other way))

It really is, yes - and how was today?

As suspected, there's no way that I can work an equivalent of full time hours with the wee one at home. I suppose in some ways it is fortunate that work is quite slow right now, as long as I don't think too hard about the long term implications of that...

From a parenting point of view, it was great. Played with Lego boats, got out into the garden and made mud pies, a great daddy-daughter day. Even slipped in some sly education trying out a card games to play with numerical skills.

Of course, its all so frustratingly opaque, no-one knows really what next week looks like at the moment, things seem to change hour by hour. Glad you had a good day as a parent though, I've been doing lego over webcam! It's not the same!!!

Sorry to cut in, but I have finally cooled down enough to step in front of the computer.  It has been a long day, but I just wanted to take a quick look at the new location fast before bed.  Tomorrow, I drop the cat off in the morning to get spayed and Wednesday I am taking the day off to monitor post-op.

Ready to get everyone in I think, and get back into the swing of it by finishing off winter - I can't say I'm 100% familiar with all the systems, especially in the app, but we can add those in one at a time I think, firstly focusing on getting the most out of the journal to keep characters and npc's.

Don't thank me for setting it up - I need to be thanking you for your patience with me, afterall, I was the one who managed to get myself a ban! Don't ask why, I still don't know, everything they said has been backtracked on, both moderators involved have referred to it as a genuine misunderstanding on all parties part - mine, theirs and the mods - but deleting my messages with Minutewalt burned a bridge with me forever, that can't be taken back, so whatever went on, I am no longer interested in finding out or reaching out. But this is all I have to say on the matter. I don't think there are likes here, I have api access, so that might let me reach into the forum, but let's get up and runnng and comfortable first! How is everyone dealing with quarantine?

As another aside - it seems like this forum will be private only? Meaning anyone who was reading along at the old forum wouldn't be able to continue. That would be one tick in favor of something like rollgate if that's a concern.

Only those you have invited as players will be able to join the game itself, read the chat archive, or post in the forums.
