The
in person game I am in has been postponed until after this whole
pandemic thing blows over, and the online game I would normally play on
mondays seems to be unofficially no more, as the DM while still in the
channel (and online) has not responded to any inquiries as to the status
of the game. So I am currently looking to either join a game already in
progress or a new one altogether. I
am [a 31yo Male] looking for something preferrably on Saturday or
Sunday evenings, starting between 7 and 8 PM est. Please note that I am looking for a free game, and not a pay to play. (Since I can't change the title) I also have no issues playing with new/inexperienced players. I've
been playing (5e) for roughly 3 years now, but am more inclined toward
the exploration and combat sides of D&D, as I am still learning to
open up in the RP side. While OC, I
tend to crack jokes, jokingly take things out of context, and am a
sucker for wordplay and terrible terrible puns, but once I'm called upon
to role play, I have a tendency to freeze up...Call it 'performance
anxiety' if you will. So,
that being said, I'm looking for a relatively relaxed game (Good or
evil campaign doesn't matter), where 'rule of cool' (As my alt fridays
DM puts it) is in order. And I'm hoping for a DM who doesn't mind a bit
of homebrew. I generally tend to find homebrewed races/subclasses more
fun to play than official ones, but I am more than happy to go over them
with the DM and make game specific changes to any homebrew material I
am looking at to balance things if necessary. I also have a character
that I homebrewed a race for that doesn't technically fit in the lore,
and I'm still looking for a game she can fit in to. {<---This is not
to say I won't use official materials, as I currently have two vanilla
champion fighters in use in other games} Also, I'm used to using Roll20 as the tabletop and discord for voice. Anyway, I think that's about it.
