Whispering as an NPC

Hello, we all know that we as a GM can speak as an NPC, either way by changing our /as on the the chat or by command /as. But is there a way to Whisper our players as a NPC?  Like i would love to do some crazy, ghostly whispers to only one of the players, but i would like them to be spoken by "Weird Voice" or something instead of Game Master.

To whisper as an NPC, you need to change the As: dropbox to whatever you want to be speaking as.  Then you can /w "player name" I'm so cold... And it will come from whomever you've selected.

Piotr, as a Pro user, there's also an API script, ColorEmote, that The Aaron wrote, that allows you to speak as any token.  I use it for talking inanimate objects as well as NPCs.  You can make a token somewhere players won't see it, even on the GM layer, and it can be the source of your message.  There is also a whisper function.  Take a look here for some more information.

That's pretty simple, but that doesn't exactly suit my need. 1. What it will do if i switch to an NPC it will also show my avatar to all players which i want to avoid. Like i want to just whisper some maddening whispers to one player but i don't want others just to see how i change my awatar and stuff. So i just want to whisper as an NPC, without actually changing to an NPC.  Is it possible or is a script for that?

That script Valerie mentioned can certainly send it as someone else without you switching who you are.  A simpler API script could also do the same sort of thing.
