Character token blurry

Heya! I realized that the character token you drag and drop onto the map is less sharp / more blurry compared to the token you can set yourself to "As:".  Tested in Chrome and Firefox. Below I just dragged the map so that the token (right) is next to my select "As: character" option (left). Right one a lot more blurry and hurts my eyes. :/ Is there a way to fix that? Thank you, -Crux
Is one just dropped on the desktop and the other saved as the character picture? (#1) Have you clicked the token and made it the token for the character? (#2) If not, I can't think of what happened.
Only the right one is a token. The one on the left is your avatar on the bottom left when you select "As:" in chat. Also set a default token now, as you described above, but that didn't make any difference in sharpness unfortunately.
I think Roll20 dynamically generates different resolutions of artwork on the page to help manage bandwidth.
The “as” in chat is a much smaller image.  Small images always seemed to be clearer.  Sometimes it’s hard to find good images for tokens.  I usually search “portrait” and “art” to find the ones I like and look for clear images.
I used the highly recommend rolladvantage token stamp generator, and it does good work, as seen for the "As:" image. Disappointing to see that Roll20 uses a worse version of the same image for the token on the map itself. :/
