[LFP] [Dark Heresy 2nd edition] [GMT]

Hello! I recently dug out my copy of Dark Heresy 2nd ed and was immediately struck by what a work of art it was!  Now I want to run a little campaign.  If you're a beginner I can talk you through the character creation.  I will warn you, it's been years since I've played and I've forgotten more than I remember so we will be learning together haha give me a shout if you're interested. Time and day are flexible but I am based in the UK and only available to run the game in the evening.

Im interested. If you like 2nd wait until you see 1st ed ;) If you have any trouble with the 40k universe id be willing to help. Im in the awkward spot between having gm'd 3 times and not being able to carry a conversation down at the store because im not word perfect on the horus heresy series. Im interested in playing either an Adept or a Psyker (ive never played a Psyker).

How late in the evening? I'm GMT-5 so if you're playing at the right day/time I'd certainly be interested in joining in! I've been dying to play a 40k game.

I would be interested. I have played a pretty long Dark Heresy campaign a few years ago, and would love to go for it again.

Nice I wasn't expecting responses so quick! I've played first ed, I don't have the books anymore but I prefer 2nd ed anyway, lateral character advancement is better for players than linear. You have way more options. I'm old hat with 40k, started playing in 2nd ed :) we might have different ideas of just what imperial life is like though, I've written up some bits and pieces in the game forum, I will add anyone who's interested so they can have a read. as for how late in the evening, probably 20:00hrs UK time, I have a newborn and that's about the time we go to bed (the missus will take him to bed on game night) the day of the week is flexible, I will let the players sort that out amongst themselves. Hopefully voice. BUT there are a lot of people using Roll20 since the lockdown so it will probably end up being text. We'll make it work regardless.

Nice, I can definitely make that on Saturday or Sunday. If you have a Discord, we can set up a server to keep contact among the group, also Discord's voice chat is more stable. We can use R20 as a secondary but the connection isn't as solid. I can be available a couple other days, depending. I'd love to play an AdMech but I'm open to other concepts.

im very interested to try dh2 as i have played rouge trader a ton and love 40k plus Sundays work the best.
