I have been running professional live D&D games for the past 2 years now and am now making the leap into roll20! Though only part-time work for me, I found that D&D not only helps support my family and my personal endeavors but also allows me to help people have a great time, whether they are new or old to D&D. Ghosts of Saltmarsh Nestled on the Sea of Swords is the town of Saltmarsh. A sleepy fishing village that sits on the precipice of destruction. Smugglers guide their ships to hidden coves, willing to slit the throat of anyone fool enough to cross their path. Cruel Sahuagin gather beneath the waves, plotting to sweep away the coastal cities and drown the Sword Coast in blood and seawater. Drowned Sailors stir to unnatural life, dark magics awaken in the depths called forth by vows of vengeance. The cults of forbidden gods extend their reach outward from decaying ports and lost islands. While Saltmarsh slumbers the evils that seek to plunder it and the coast grow stronger. Heroes must rise up to keep the sea and lands safe for all! A Dungeon and Dragons Adventure for characters of level 1-20, This will be a slightly modified Saltmarsh campaign to allow more sandbox/open-world group play. Why Ghosts of Saltmarsh? I've run this campaign live and now want to bring that experience to roll20! Also by changing the setting from Greyhawk to Sword Coast, we are able to explore and visit such places as Luskan, Neverwinter, Baldurs Gate, Waterdeep and so much more and can even venture into other adventures or a sandbox campaign when we feel like it.
