I need a class in GM tools

I've been GMing games since the early 80s...here's my problem..I can read and reread about how to import maps, create tokens and the such. I'll never get it...I need someone to walk me through it, and then I'll learn...I learn by doing, not by reading or watching you tube videos...There are a few things I'd like to run...I really don't have the $$$ to spend to buy one of the preloaded things, plus the stuff I want to run are a bit older....Is there anyone who'd like to give a fella a class?  Pat

I'm just learning myself, started running Curse of Strahd a couple of weeks ago, and have been picking up how to make maps, tokens, and macros, but can also sympathize with feeling way in over my head. Do you have any specific questions, or you could invite me to a game and we could chat about how to solve some problems.
