Newbie Looking for a group.

TY for taking the time to read my post it's much appreciated. So, My name is Nick I'm 39. I have been into fantasy since i was a child.  I've  wanted to get involved with a D&D for years, but never got the chance. Now that I've found this great site, it seems like i can finally start on an adventure of my own. I'm new to (playing) D&D 5e and using Roll20. I'm looking for a friendly group who isn't bothered by a newer player slowing them down a little. I live on the west coast (-8 GMT) and am open most afternoons and evenings.
