Sword Coast Map

I'm new to Roll20 and I bought the Deluxe Essentials Kit. I'm prepping for my first game with the Dragon of Icespire Peak adventure. I created a secondary account so I can see what things will look like for my players. When I put the players on the Sword Coast Map they can't see things like the town of Phandalin or any of the locations. Once the players find one of the locations how can I make it visible to the players on their map? Also, how can I do this for the town of Phandalin? One more thing is trying to move between different layers on the map sometimes it seems like the map becomes more opaque and then the edit button (when right-clicking) doesn't respond. Also, the undo button doesn't seem to do anything when I click on it. Also, if there are any online tutorials (video or text) about how to work with module adventure maps I would appreciate being pointed in that direction. Thanks!
The map labels are usually on the GM layer. You will need to switch to the GM layer, select the label, right click. Layers>Token Layer. This will then make it visible to your players. Different layers will make the map seen different or un-selectable. This is intentional so you don't accidentally move or delete things. Here is a roll20 Tips video for the way layers work. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=a4BX0BsLjj0&t=94s

Good advice. I would recommend moving any labels to the map layer, though, to avoid accidental movement or deletion. If they appear on the map layer underneath the map, you can always select the map graphic, right-click and choose "Move to Back"
