Looking For Players

I am looking for some fun people to play a game with. I am a GM with experience in DnD, Mutants and Masterminds, tiny bit of Timewatch and Dragon Age RPG.    If you are interested in playing I just want to ask a couple questions to get to know if we would get along. What is your favorite system and why is it your favorite? Which three of these are your favorites and why: Action Politics Drama Inter party conflict Twists/Betrayal Exploration Of those three favorites can you give me an example of a scene involving those that you enjoyed? Whether from Books, games, movies, shows or anything else.
My favorite would be 5e, i haven't really played any other systems.Action, politics, and exploration would probably be the critical role party meeting cad though the reveal of calebs backstory is a close second.
Hi I would be down to Join your campaign the only thing is I am somewhat new to D&D. I have played before but it has just been a couple years. would I still be able to join
5e would be my choice and I like action adventure mostly. I am pretty new to dnd and roll20.
Greetings, my favorite system is 5th since it is easy to modify if need be and it's simple to reduce player confusion. I certainly enjoy all the themes but action because I enjoy the excitement of the combat or similar things like chases. Exploration because I love going to creative and varied location. Twists because I enjoy surprises that catch off guard and blow my mind. Like stated previously I do enjoy all the themes that were stated its just these three are more enjoyable to me.
Hello there, I'm looking to join a group as a player, and I would love to play D&D 5e. I like Action because I like combat in 5e, Exploration because I like worldbuilding and finding hidden passages, and Drama because I absolutely love Roleplaying. My favorite moment in fiction featuring one of these three is the Final Agni Kai in Avatar: TLA. The action is staggering and the music makes it feel all the more intense. I do live in Belgium and have a strict sleep schedule. I'm comfortable playing any class, and I like writing short stories featuring the main characters of a campaign I play in, so I might do that too if that's allowed. If you want to contact me, my Discord is Stegi#7669
Ya normally I wouldn't publicly tell someone no on here but that was a terrible application Doomface. You didn't even answer any questions and called women females of the species. That's not cool bro.
Hey there. Been stuck inside and usually stuck running games so I'm looking to scratch the itch to play in a long term campaign. My time is atlantic(est+1) and I'm usually free all day, with the virus going round. I like 5e. Spent a of time with 3.5 and the simplicity of 5e has become very appealling after running a gestalt campaign long term. I dont really have a preference as to the style of campaign, I just like solid storytelling and wanna do my part to emphasize that for the party, butbi guess if I had to choose I'd say action, political intrigue, and drama. Action because that's what we are here for, typically, intrigue and drama because that's where the storytelling hits the fan. As for a scene involving any of those, I turn to anything from the Witcher 3. That game did a great job of allowing you to choose your playstyle, and the story ramps up quite  nicely. (Would hate to ruin it for anyone but happy to talk about it in private more)
Hi Keenan, I haven't played in a long while and going to date myself here, it was 2nd ed. I am looking to get back into it and have some fun. I would have to say that dnd is my favorite as I haven't played any of the others you listed. I would say that I most enjoyed the inter party 'team spirit'. That is to say everything from the jokes that you only get if you were there and generally the bond between the characters (and players) that builds over time. And obviously the love for the game world that you get as you scrap, explore and scavenge your way around it, becoming as much part of it as it becomes part of you. From your list it would have to be: Action - not only for the excitement but also for the bonds it can build Drama - who doesn't love a bit of drama? Exploration - that big wide world just waiting to be explored, where do I sign up? As for an example scene, there are so many, well I have enjoyed watching the Acquisitions Inc games and I enjoyed Firefly. The interactions between the characters, drama, the humour and the action as they bounce around the world (or space) trying to not get killed.

Hey! Pretty new to D&D and haven't played since high-school (which was pathfinder i think?). Would love to get into 5e and give it another roll (pun intended). I think i would most enjoy a campaign with drama because it can build up character development really well, twists/betrayals because it adds a bunch of dynamics to the gameplay itself as well as some fun decision making, and exploration because travelling across a vast continent meeting new people, encountering new races, and facing new challenges is really fun. Action is pretty fun as well but i feel like that kind of comes with exploration and twists. I kind of have a character imagined and a bit of a backstory written up but would need an interactive DM due to the nature of the character. I'm free to play most days and would like a bit of a lengthy campaign!
Hey Keenan, I have been playing 5e for a couple months, but have played on and off since the early 2000's. I really enjoy an kind of game playing style and am easy to adjust to the players and DM style. I really enjoy action adventure with story telling weaved throughout. I really enjoy The Last of us and the uncharted series because i think it is a great combination of all of those things.  I love character creation process and would be willing to play any role in the party.

VOZ3.GAMER-HOSTING.COM:9102
Um, ok. If you think you arent "my type" then why did you fill out an application Erezia? Also why post it in Spanish?   There have been some good applications and I'll message those of you i think might be a good fit

Hello! I know you've gotten a ton of replies already, but figured I'd throw my hat in the ring. I'm on Eastern Time, but working from home and with a fairly open schedule atm.  My favorite system is actually White Wolf; I know it's a bit unconventional, but I really like the emphasis on storytelling and world-building to influence the scene rather than the heavy reliance on chance that most d20 systems use. That said, of the d20 systems, I really enjoy 5e. I grew up on 3.5, and I especially appreciate how 5e has managed to streamline character design and allow players to develop characters with unique flavor that don't generally feel significantly over/under-powered. It's made D&D so much easier to just pick up and play, and I think that's a great thing for the hobby.  Of the three qualities you listed, my favorites (roughly in order) are:  Politics(/intrigue) - I love interpersonal interactions. I generally prefer playing schemers/political characters. I also think this gives players a good chance to learn more about each other/the world without just having an exposition session.  Drama(+twists/betrayal) - See above. Schemes and intrigue are my jam, and drama just makes them juicier! Exploration - This is the heart of the game for me. I want to go new places and experience new things.  I love games with a heavy reliance on theme and character/npc interaction. I freely admit that I'm not the world's greatest roleplayer, and I certainly enjoy games with a more laid-back style, but mostly I like getting to play around in the world and hang out with the folks I'm partied with.  I'm unfortunately struggling to come up with a scene, but I think The Hobbit captures some of the quintessential things I look for in a game/campaign. The continuous sense of wonder, from the Dwarves' arrival all the way to the Lonely Mountain are exactly the kind of exploration I enjoy. There is whimsy, and camaraderie, and danger; a little bit of politicking; and a sense of growth and accomplishment. Would happy to expound more if you want; but I won't take up any more of your time. Cheers!
I'm throwing my hat into the ring because I'm interested in getting a shot in. Sorry to pile on another long-winded comment on top of everything! My favorite system I've played with thus far is probably Pathfinder or the Star Wars d20 system from a few years back, but I've had experience with D&D 3.5, L5R and various Whitewolf games. I've been interested in primarily player 5e after I had a brief brush with it, which impressed me with how it handled magic (at least, with the warlock I played was awesome, hot damn!) I want to play a character that has an affect on the world, and does the same with their party. I wanna adventure, and that involves all this groovy stuff that I'm keen on: The subjects that interest me the most are Politics, Exploration and Action. Politics (and Drama because I'm a sneaky cheater): I read enough thrillers to tell me how much I enjoy the politicking between different peoples, and I love doing that in game. Sometimes I love aggressive negotiations , or actually using my diplomacy stat to talk down a whole group of bandits. I am usually making characters who can play between a talker and a fighter, so if something goes bad, then I'm able to draw blade and whip ass. Exploration: I'm an expat in reality, so I love checking out new places, and I enjoy the same in my RPGs. I love seeing new cultures and seeing the trials of a location that we encounter. I'm a sucker for fish-out-of-water scenarios, so this just speaks to me on so many levels. It's fun to ingrain the party into the a place in the world, and combined with politics, its a recipe for success. On top of that, it gives the party plenty of space to use the skills they trained up on that isn't specifically combat-oriented, and we can be creative in our problem solving out on the road. Action: I like to smash, what can I say? Setting ambushes, flanking, making traps, all that jazz. I like playing skirmishers, and I like tactics, so it all comes together nicely. Honestly, I want a party and I to have a great time with a DM, and that's all I can ask for! If it's any consolation, I'm currently located in SE Asia, but I'm pretty much 11 hours ahead of EST, so any time in the evening on the East Coast would be about the morning time for me. Anytime from 7am my time would be starting about 8pm EST.
I'll toss my hat into the ring here as well. The only system I have any kind of familiarity with is DND 5e, so I guess I'd say it's my favorite. I'm very new. I've played one or two sessions in person that never went anywhere and am an avid follower of Critical Role on YouTube, but have never been able to find a group to play a game at my college. Just recently discovered Roll20. Amongst the characteristics you listed, I'd probably list politics, drama, and action as my top three (in no particular order). I like exploration, but I don't mind if it isn't there. Regarding twists/betrayals/inter-party conflict, I like it if it's for some narrative purpose or for character development, etc., but in some of the almost-campaigns I've played in the past, people have tried to do stuff like that for its own sake and it was less fun. Within Critical Role C2 (spoilers ahead), I think the whole arc of seeing the Bright Queen all the way to meeting King Dwindal and bringing them to the negotiating table pretty well captures a good mix of politics, drama, and action (also exploration), but there are lots of other good examples.
