My groups is having a heck of a time figuring out creating characters in our game, but then lo and behold I found the charactermancer!! So I purchased the Core Rulebook pack so we can use this, but I cannot find where to access it! I thought it was withing the character sheet, but I don't see it. Any ideas?

Pretty sure it doesn't have one (yet?). Per the Starfinder Core book page : Continuing Development includes Roll20 Charactermancer support, allowing you and your players to build characters in moments. I agree that this part could be worded better, but I'm reading this as the sheet not having a charactermancer.

No, you purchased the right thing, there just isn't any Chractermancer for the Starfinder sheet yet. The line I quoted is a bit awkward and can be mistaken to mean that there is one, rather than there being one in development.
