White Screen, unable to see map with android app / Overly large menu screen with google

So here's my issue, I have 2 problems and trying to find out what will be the best option for my nephew wanting to join in. He does not have a tablet or PC or Laptop. He has a smartphone he can remote in with. I thus chipped in and paid fees to support androids to join. (Worth for Dynamic lighting alone) when he joins via the roll20 App on Google play he sees this when he joins he can resize the 3 lines to pop in and out and everything else seems OK but there Is no map to see . We've tried (Ive tried) logging iin and using 2 fingers to pan myself super left or up to get to the map with NO avail. So we go in through google via android and get this. GREAT! We can see the map but the menu box takes up like 90% of the screen which is super sub optimal. Any way people know to get around either the first issue or resize the 2nd menu section so it can be useable?

Beyond that, our app is currently going through a significant update, utilizing feedback like you provided, to provide better support, compatibility, and experience.
