Pathfinder 2nd ed: how to use drag and drop content?

I recently purchased the PF 2nd ed GMG through Roll20's marketplace, primarily to simplify creating encounters on the fly via dragging and dropping NPC's/Mobs directly onto the map with fully fleshed out character sheets (this is my interpretation of "drag and drop", please correct me if I'm mistaken). So far I haven't had any success. I can pull up the book in the compendium when I'm not in the game, but not while in game. (Not a huge deal as I can pull it up on a seperate tab). However, when I go to the NPC section, nothing I try allows me to drag an entry into the journal tab as a new character, let alone auto creating a token to place on the map. I feel like my expectations are off. Do I need to create a new character and then drag the stats to the sheet? How does this work? (AM NOOB)

You need to enable the compendium for the campaign under the "Settings" > "Game settings" option on the campaign's front page, or keep it as "Determined by Character Sheet" if you use the right sheet. Inside the Game Settings: You need to drag the NPC/monster to the map from the in-game compendium, which will result in it also appearing in the Journal-tab. When the NPC is on the map & in the journal, you can delete the token from the map, and the NPC stays in the Journal tab for future use and drag-n-drop.
OMG thank you, just went through the settings and realized I was attempting to use the 1st ed compendium instead of the 2nd. Swapped it over and it works perfectly.
