30-year D&D veteran, BA in Creative Writing, former editor for two of the big five publishing houses in NY and London, TEFL certified teacher, editor of the Conan the Barbarian Ultimate Guide (DK Publishing), and owner of several swords and helmets. I'd love to run a game for a fun, creative group that appreciates a little old-school chaos in their gaming. Not a curmudgeony, railroady DM. You will never be compelled, explicitly or tacitly, to follow any particular path. I enjoy the creative side of DMing, the challenge of it, which means that rolling with whatever you guys toss my way is what makes is fun for me. If you do want to play a specific module, I won't just run the module, I'll slot it into an entire world, which will be your dangerous, magical, outrageous, stabby oyster. Before we roll any dice, I'll do a lot of listening. I want to know what you want to play, using a robust pre-campaign survey, a zero session, and ongoing feedback to inform the world we build together. Finally, if you are interested in having an immortalized record of our adventures, I can draft detailed, entertaining, appropriately epic writeups after ever session ( sample adventure log here ).  I live in the Eastern US time zone, though my schedule is very flexible, and I'll work to accommodate yours. Rates: Zero session: No charge Thereafter: $30 / 4-hour session / player; add $5 / session to include write-ups Payment method: Venmo / session Roll20 Disclaimer:  “This game will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $30/player/4-hour session. Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements." If you have any questions or have trouble accessing the sample materials above, give me a shout! If you don't want to play DCC, I can be talked into other systems. But if you haven't played DCC, you are in for a treat. An outrageous, high-octane, unbelievably fun treat. -Brian
