[PF2E] GM looking for 2-3 players for the Age of Ashes adventure path.

Hello all, I am a fairly experienced GM (2 years running Pathfinder 1E games), looking to try my hand at 2e, having read through some of the books and enjoying what I saw. So here's the details of what you can expect from this game; - I run games in the afternoon, typically starting at 2-3 PM Eastern time, and ending around 6-7 (I work nights). I'm not inflexible on the time if that is not doable for a majority of players; I can run morning sessions after 6 AM as well (as long as the session would end before 1 PM) and I can start the sessions as late as 6pm to still get a decent amount of time in. Other than that, I am available to run these games on any day the party as a whole agrees on, though I was favoring running this on Fridays. - I emphasize storytelling, description and characterization over mechanics. I want my players to have fun with the story above all, and I do not care for min-maxers or people not engaged with the narrative, so if your goal is to be the coolest dude who ever did a critical hit with a katana, this is not the game for you. - Above point being said, I am not fully versed in 2e as of yet. I wanted to run this game to get a better grasp on its mechanics for myself. However, as stated, I have been running 1e games for some times. So at worst, I'd default to PF1e rules if I forget something. I hope this won't be a problem. I would be appreciative of being reminded when I do this. - I am running the Age of Ashes adventure path, which involves military conspiracies and the Order of the Hellknights in it's main plot. Furthermore, I will be running with entirely vanilla rules (though I do fudge mechanics on a whim, it's just part of my DMing style) to learn the system better. I currently have 2 players on standby, though no character details have been generated. I'll be running a "session 0" to cement the backstories and interpersonal relationships of the PCs and NPCs before the story proper begins. If you'd like to join us in this adventure, just fill out the application below! Your Name: Preferred Pronouns: Character Idea: (Your initial idea for race and class and maybe a tiny bit of backstory idea. Before session 0, I will have everyone discuss in my discord server the full details, as I do not enforce players avoid playing the same races or classes, but my only character creation rule is that the players coordinate to not step on each other's toes for function within the group.) What time frame works best for you?: Is there any themes/things you wish to avoid in this game?: (Including mechanics themselves, should you not like a particular thing. I will try to be as accommodating as I can be, within reason.) Thank you for your time, and I hope to speak with any applicants soon about their characters. :D
Hi. Im a pathfinder 2e dm myself and id love to join a campaign for age of ashes. Name: Jeff He/him As for character im up to fill what ever the part needs. I usually prefer supports or ranged fighters but I usually dont find myself as the main crunchy dps player. I prefer thematic characters over mechanical ones even though sometimes that goes against the heart of what pathfinder is or so im told. I usually play humanoid races because I dont like being the center of attention in rp situations and feel playing a race that clashes with the setting sorta forces npc interaction with you rather than the party doing it naturally. Because of the outbreak my time frame is pretty open but i am a paid dm on the side so sometimes people will hire me for one shots but usually I will have at least 7 day warning on that. I would prefer to avoid gatcha dming. I have a bad track record for pathfinder games where it feels like the dms vs the players rather than the dm and the players. Stuff like you forgot to lock your room at the inn last night so all your stuff is gone. The merchant swapped the magic sword for a less magical version of it as you were paying because you didnt specifically make a check to make sure it was the same sword. Stuff like that usually causes group arguments and im not a huge fan of that silent tension that builds in groups like that. Rpgs should be fun.
Hey there, I've been trying to get more into the mechanics of 2e and would really like a chance to experiment. Name: Vherstinae (I don't like giving out my real name until I know people better) Pronouns: He/Him For character, I usually lean toward intellectual and/or charismatic types. Perhaps a champion, wizard, rogue or bard. Perhaps even a cleric, himself an aspiring Hellknight. I like to make characters who make narrative sense as well as are mechanically powerful, so once I settle on a class and race I'll build a fully-fleshed character. Fridays work for me and I can usually make 3pm, though I wouldn't mind starting a bit later. I can't think of anything in particular to ask for/ask you not to do with regards to game mechanics. If you think I'd be a good fit, I can start brainstorming for more detail regarding character concepts. I'm not attached to anything just yet, that way I can adjust my concept as needed.
I would love to get in on this, I'm an experienced Pathfinder 1e player though I haven't had the chance to get into 2e yet (though I have the PDFs). Name: Jason He/Him I have an idea for a elf ranger that I started working on for 1e. I'd have to look at the 2e character mechanics to see if the backstory still made sense with the traits and options available. That being said, I'm really committed to any character concept. I do prefer characters though that are more skill based than damage based. Afternoons would be fantastic with my current schedule, and Friday mornings/afternoons even better. I can't think of anything in particular I'd like to avoid.

Your Name : Ray Preferred Pronouns : He / Mate / Buddy Character Idea : I want to play a proactive Hunter-esque Goblin, likely the Rogue class tho I can adapt - a wild child reattuning himself to society with the typical quirks of a goblinoid. I wish to play a fine mix of memetastic fun, omnipresent industriousness and pragmatic cooperativeness. Is there any themes/things you wish to avoid in this game? : Nope. Be it light-hearted fun, ow the edge, epic fantasy, partially futuristic... I am open to anything and anyone ^3^
Awesome, thanks for the applications everyone! If you 4 could add me on Discord at Jayce#6913, I can invite you all to the server to discuss the game in more detail.
(I know you're probably all good on players now, but if you don't mind me putting in an app to be on the list of interested folks should people drop out. I hope nobody does but things happen!) Your Name: Liam O'Shea Preferred Pronouns: He/Him Character Idea: Elven Fighter, uses light armour & rapier and fancies himself a duelist. Sees swordsmanship as an art form he wishes to try and perfect. What time frame works best for you?: I run on GMT (Yeah, I'm a tea-drinking Imperial, sorry mates) so I'd like to avoid starting too late. (7pm EST would be midnight my time, so the 2/3 - 6/7 kinda time would actually be perfect) Is there any themes/things you wish to avoid in this game?: I haven't tried Pathfinder beyond a 1st Ed homebrew campaign 6 years ago, but I really want to give it a go. So I'm pretty eager to try any and all things everyone else is comfortable trying and seeing how the game goes, I just want to enjoy the RP!
Sure thing, feel free to add me on discord and Ill add you to the server/roll20 game.
