GMing woes with monsters

I must be doing something wrong :) I am trying to DM a module and the team runs into 10 orcs. I find orc and drag one on the map where players cant see. Then I have to find an image in the image directory that looks like a orc and drag that over Then I update the red bubble with HP and Green bubble with AC Then I copy and paste 9 times Then as the battle rages, I update HP accordingly. However, every time an Orc gets to attack, I go back to original dropped char sheet to open and attack. Is this how everyone else is doing it?? Also all mobs have to move on same INIT cause I cant INIT tokens with no sheet..? Thanks for help
I created a "mook template" character journal entry, according to the instructions I found here: https://wiki.roll20.net/Linking_Tokens_to_Journals Now every time I need a new monster I just duplicate that template, fill it out for the new monster, and link the duplicate to the new token. I have built into the template an initiative macro that is set to appear on the token bar. So I click that monster, then click the initiative macro and it adds that token individually to the turn tracker. Also I've recently started using the group initiative api script, so now I only have to hit one macro button for all the mooks, although I still have to select them all first (currently trying to figure out a way to select them all quickly)
but it wont have any attack information you can click on to attack?

This feels like a miss on functionality. I should be able to drop a goblin, then somehow paste as new 10 times so they all have the info in them, but different HP and such. Select them all and click INIT and they all show up on the init turns. Then when they die and I delete them, they should go away. I mean, this is what happens during 80% of the game. There is no image on the token, so have to handle that, setup all the bubbles every time. Its too much...

If you link your tokens correctly, you only need to do it once for each type of creature. Then you drag out tokens by dragging the name of the sheet they are linked to out on the map as many times as needed. Without a pro subscription for api access, most people that run a game will write a token action macro in their macro collection. If it is written to work from the token you have selected when calculating initiative, then it will work for any token you have on the map as long as it is correctly linked to a character sheet.

Delete any goblin already in your game. Drop a new one from the Compendium tab. Follow the instructions linked above methodically and exactly. You will wind up with goblins you can drop from your journal tab which have separate hit point totals but are all linked to the same sheet for the purposes of attacks and such. Here is a video if you prefer that method of instruction. Roll20TnT Linking Tokens and Journals
