He starts working on a new spell with Nalu help, unraveling the mystery of Kavera's spell she used to stop Aragnak attack, that Drago has now called "Breath Block". Taking the energy used from the standard shield spell Drago mixes it with Dragon blood to try and get it to ignore everything but the raw dragoic energy. If Kavera is having a "good day" mind wise he will try and get her help in teaching him the ability. He hopes to make a reaction based spell that works to mitigate a dragon's breath weapon attack, just like Kavera did. When he sees Larmedylth he asks her a question based on something she said back in front of the temple. "maybe one day you'll change your form". He wants to know if she meant maybe.. is it possible for him to become a true dragon? Drago tries learning his spell, but can't manage to comprehend the magic that Kaevara used. It's such powerful and complex magic that it's obvious it's far beyond his current abilities. Larmedylth tells Dragomir that many have tried, but none have succeeded. Orithar Trisk Continues he search to repair his own soul, following up with any leads from the previous downtime. If there is no progression to be made he will instead see if his new "fame" in Anuire is enough to get him audience to see someone of worth at the mages college in Anuire. To see if someone is able to help him understand the information from the soul scroll as given his situation it may be very important. The mages aren't of any help on Orithar's quest to repair his soul. Though he is at least able to ask, it's a brief meeting. Despite his fame they still don't seem to think much of him. Fenris Nathair Continues hunting human in the LLubraight and couldn't be happier. Why in the Llubraight fenris keeps a eye out for interesting beasts he could use for wild shapes. Fenris spends some time hunting in the Llubraight. He sees various creatures of the northern woods. Theo Rendi Major: attempts to create a basic poison. Minor: writes all he knows about the tentacle faced people, to include every little detail he remembers, in a journal to give to the Kallonan You need proficiency with a herablism kit to make healing potions. He gives his letter to The Kallanon. Shango Bayu Shango will spend some time travelling to Ber Dairas, to listen in on the latest news there. Maybe some rising opportunities from Elisheva or some interesting quests and bounties over there The news in Ber Dairas is as varied as usual. There's some rumors about sand wyrms passing through the area in a rare migration period. Many folk are talking about hunting them as they eat dirt, metal, rock, and most importantly gold. The gold apparently can build up in their system, and it's usually the cause of death for old sand wyrms. The older they are, the bigger they, and the more gold there is to be found inside of their bodies. At least that's the story anyways. Zeek Major Action: If Zeek has enough experience he will continue is wizard training. If he does not, Zeek will search the library for enchantment books that focus on emotional manipulation magic. Minor Action: Zeek will spend all of his free time reading at the library. I'm going to go ahead and assume you have enough XP to continue your training as I'm trying to catch up on everything. You spend some time reading in the library. Darvius Darvius spends all month working to teach Thinnie to read, as she develops her skills he starts to include more advanced reading. He will also play games with her focused on developing her social skills. Darvius continues studying goblin with the Goblins. Thinnie is slowly coming around, and showing different sides of herself to Darvius that hadn't showed in the past. She does a good job practicing reading, but these days she can also get bored, or frustrated with it more quickly. It's getting harder to get her to practice. Brognir Spends his days in the cohort library like normally lately. He is researching about the crystal form of himself he met. He wants to know what he is and if there is a way to communicate with him. Brognir does his research on the subject of his "clone," but isn't able to find any records of anything like that in The Cohort's library. Grian Veles Spends his time researching pixies. He wants to know if they have a culture, biology, magics and anything else he could find. He will also check if they have anything about the ritual he will be giving himself to. When he is not researching he will spend his gold to get someone to make new doll size dresses for himself and for the other two who will be joining him. He tries to find another pixie to make the dresses for him. Grian reads many stories about pixies. They are strange creatures who tend to enjoy trickery, but apparently many have a penchant for eating children. He gets some dresses made. Vincent Heron Location: Halls of the Cohort Arcanum - Modest Lifestyle (16sp) Vincent practices reading in Midgardian using the book he had purchased in Zoebeck (Dwerren book on crafting). When he grows bored of this he heads back to the markets and sells his heavy crossbow stressing to the merchants there that a "Heron Marked" weapon should really be purchased at a premium. He does remove the spyglass from it before selling it. He takes the time to practice at the range with "Poison Ivy" his new short-bow and reflects on how a crossbow would certainly be superior if trying to take careful aim. He runs into Salazar who convinces him to join him on a mission a fellow Cohort Member is organizing that may let him put the bow to real use - against a demon no less! Major Action: Reading the Dwerren crafting book written in Midgardian. Minor Action: Does some minor shopping - sells his heavy crossbow and purchases arrows/quiver for "Poison Ivy" his new short-bow. Vincent reads the book, and studies up on some of the secrets of the Dwerren of Midgard (gain expertise in smith's tools). After that he does some shopping. Diesa Gemfire Researching defensive combat magic of the second circle in case Roesone has to go to war with the Bear King of the Erebannien Diesa discovers the Absorb Elements spell. Perhaps not of the level she wanted, but it can at least be cast at 2nd level. Nils Ullstein OOC: unable to level as the logs have not been completed yet. Location: Halls of the Cohort Arcanum, Isle of Fabrica - Poor Lifestyle (0gp) Nils contemplates his failure to both anticipate the consequences of killing the fey creatures under the protection of the Queen of Witches and his inability to face such an impressive foe head on. He does take some solace in having restored Teresa to the ranks of the cohort although she certainly did not see the party as saviors. He contemplates offering himself to be transformed as punishment for his mistakes but Alvah whom he is training with convinces him that many will see this transformation not as a curse it is but as a boon. He vows to get stronger by any means - he has a basic understanding of the arcane from his time learning from Alvah but seeks out a teacher so he can learn to wield some of its power himself. Eventually he finds the awshegh Eiren, a well known and powerful member of the cohort, and beseeches her to teach him how to make the arcane serve him.
