Setting Darkvision Each Time?

I just got a gift subscription to Plus and man, dynamic lighting seems sweet. I see how I can edit a token to mimic a character's 60ft. darkvision. Is there a way I can edit the character's sheet or default token so that I don't need to edit the token itself each time it is put a new a map?

You need to make sure the token is completely set up (permission settings, light, vision, which sheet it represents, etc.) before you edit the sheet and set it as the default token.  When you save it on the sheet, it saves that specific instance of the token.  Any changes you make on the token after that are not saved to the sheet unless you delete the default token on the sheet and resave with the new default settings.
