Making mooks

Hi everyone! This is a very common topic, but even after all my researches and readings, I'm still unable to properly link the monster to their token. Here's what I have done : A) Create a journal entry and giving stats to the monster B) Dragging the entry to the map, clicking on the token, then clicking on Use Selected Token in the entry. C) Modifying the data in the Bar 1, 2, 3 according to its HP, Ini bonus and AC and saving the changes. Now I should be able to click and drag the entry on to the map and have a token that already has all the info needed in the bar 1, 2 and 3. However, it's not the case. Could someone tell me what I did wrong?

Assign all of the correct info to the token, and then save it as the default.

"Use selected token" is the very absolute last step. It's the equivalent of saving your work and then closing a file. Here's a video I made on the subject. Roll20TnT Linking Tokens and Journals
