Daytime Savage Worlds, Players welcome.

GM of well over a decade looking to play with some fresh blood. I'm a stay at home dad so my best times to play are during weekdays. I know it's hard to find players then with work and all, but I'm hoping between summer and just people who happen to have time I can find some fun people. As for the system if you aren't informed on it don't worry its incredibly easy to pick up and learn. The only thing people might need to get their head around is that you're character is much more free and flexible than in d20 based system. Well that and role playing actually matters, you would be surprised how many people have come to just lean on what dice say considering such things. Anyways, its a setting free system so I can throw together pretty much any kind of game, though I'd say high action and cinematic experiences tend to work the best. Now enough of my rambling, to anyone who's still reading thank you for the time and energy to do so and hope to hear from you.
I don't have the free time to read the rules book but I have been wanting to try Savage Worlds. I've been trying to find a good system that can cover more than one type of setting, and everyone keeps telling me that gurps is too hard. I know Kurt Weigel (probably spelling it wrong) always has great things to say about the system and setting in his youtube reviews. I just hope you don't mind that I plan to learn as we play instead of reading the books. I can do mid afternoons and late afternoons on any day. And most nights, except for Wednesday. What type of setting/s did you have in mind?
I have been looking for a weekday game and a Savage world game at that. I've never played but I have seen a game or two and really wanted to play. I'm the kind of the person that loves his roleplay and have been wanting to play Savage world for a long time because of that. I can play any days throughout the week besides Wednesday, that may change by the end of the night but I very much doubt it.
cool savage worlds is actually really easy to learn. I would suggest at least skimming the core book and at least having a pdf to pull some things up on the off hand you get lost but really it can be learned as you go. Here are the Quick Rules ( http://www.peginc.com/freebies/SWcore/TD06.pdf ) they're free from pinical so hopefully no moderators take down my thread for posting it. As far as settings I tend to switch it up pretty frequently, right now I'm looking to play some Venture Brothers themed games with premade characters as well as I'm starting a pulp adventure, but I have run a standard fantasy game, as well as a super natural dective campaign that ran from novice (Level 1) almost up to max level.
