I have played D&D 3.5 and thats it i was wondering what super hero table top game would be best for someone who has never played something like that before and which one would be the best for a one on onne campaign where there s one dm and one player.

They like to keep the forums here on the topic of roll20 website, and to take general rp questions to other forums. My suggestion would be to use Savage Worlds and the Super Hero Companion for it. Good outside forums would be things like rpg.net and reddit rpg sub groups. Saying that there is a sub forum group here on roll20 called Your GM Academy, lots of GM's helping each other with tons of different questions like these. Here is a link. https://app.roll20.net/lfg/listing/9618/your-gm-academy
I would recommend checking out Mutants & Masterminds. It is not my favorite superhero RPG setting, but it is easy to learn, and you can do just about anything you want to with it. It uses a simple d20 mechanic, so that won't be much of a departure from 3.5 for you. Since you only plan on having one DM and one player, you won't really have to worry about balancing the characters out so everyone can have fun and not just one superhero knocks out all the bad guys. Like I said, there are other superhero systems out there that I prefer, but this is a good one for starting out.
