2 Players Looking For 3.5 Friday Sessions

In a turn of unexpected events, my campaign came to a crashing halt earlier last week when all but 1 of my players had real life matters that required their full attention until only the gods know when. With my Friday's now, sadly free, I was looking to join a campaign where my friend, David (last player standing in my previous campaign) and I could come in and play with a group. I can play literally anything, any role required, David prefers fighters or melee types but is open to anything as well. I heavily prefer to be a role player than a roll player, I despise min/maxing and would much rather progress a character based on their personality, as does my David, so if anyone out there has a campaign willing to add us both that isn't a simple kick in the door type adventure, send me a snippet or pitch the idea here. As a side note, I am comfortable with both voice and text based rp, I feel adequate at both. David is great at voice and text, but often times needs a moment to gather his thoughts or becomes tongue tied.
I'm looking for players for a game. It is not D&D unfortunately. It is Dungeon World (DW), which works great with players looking for character and story development, not how powerful your character is (levels are not that important). Right now I'm thinking of making it a one shot but depending on how the group dynamic is we can make it a campaign. Anyway just post there if you're interested and I'll invite you. Ancestor's Legacy
While it sounds very interesting, and I love to learn new systems, I would hate to join, only for it to be a single session. Single sessions bum me out really bad because I get so into everything, only to know its never happening again. I did read that it is possible for this to become a campaign, but how likely is that? Is it dependent on the people who join or some other outside factor?
It depends on the people. As I said the chemistry is important. Truth is that I was making this a campaign but the players I had showed at different times and couldn't play all at the same time. Now I'm trying to find dedicated players to try and make it even maybe bi-weekly if that's what the group wants
