The Setting!- The year is 996 Post-Sundering, and the reclusive nations of Sephritair's shattered planes are stirring, fueled with a sense of urgency as not so long ago their placid skies began to crack, literally, and the dead...no longer seem complacent. Various world leaders scramble to understand, unite, blame, secure, ...seize. Unsuspecting adventurers find themselves wedged between intrigue and wars, as a larger, distant and global threat grows. Many scramble to adapt, seek answers, & rise to the greater call. Many...just seek to survive. Beneath all, a long-forgotten struggle between the known gods and the hidden begins anew. Your adventure starts here. The Campaigns!- Wayward Lands campaigns are paid, ongoing campaigns set in a single, unified homebrew setting designed to provide optimal immersion, a sense of inclusion, and a gentle lore-learning curve. Though Sephritair is run as a living world, the heart of each campaign is the players, their stories, and choices, and how they relate to the greater events of this epic setting. Mechanics-wise, all groups play weekly and are run using a basic 5e ruleset with a few minor house-rules added to make the experience more welcoming to newer players. DM does character accents & voices! Leveling is benchmark. Sessions run three to four hours. All parties max/lock at 6 committed players! Cost is $14 per player per game payable via Kofi. More specific details about logistics are available upon request. NOTE: All parties are currently LVL 14! You will be joining late-campaign shenanigans and thrust right into the heart of the action, burdened with 14 lvls of POWER! Fear not the lore curve- The DM will work 1-1 with you to give a nice easy primer to welcome you into the danger zone! Schedule of Available Seats!- Tuesdays: "The Wild Cards" Unpredictable, Chaotic Adventures on the High Seas of the Wayward Lands! 3pm Pacific (6pm Eastern) - Ongoing - TWO SEATs! Tuesdays: " NEW PARTY " Champions Miscreants & Mercenaries answering the call to join a high-stakes plane-hopping mission!* 7:30pm Pacific (10:30pm Eastern) - Starts April 14! - THREE SEATS! Friday "Luna Sonata" Strangers On a Mission to Help! Someone! Somewhere! For...Reasons! Currently in the UNDERDARK! 3pm Pacific (6pm Eastern) - Ongoing - ONE SEAT! * NEW (late Tues) PARTY -IC- LEAD IN: The newly formed Wayward All-Nations Council has sent fliers and criers out far and wide, seeking individuals of advanced skill in magic, combat, healing and diplomacy to undertake a deadly FIRST OF IT'S KIND mission to a newly discovered additional Material Plane, known to us by correspondence only as the Discarded Plane. All reports indicate the nations of the living there likewise face this growing and lethal threat- this rise of undead armies whose sole purpose seems our very extermination. Our sources also indicate a plethora of other dangers on this plane, including rampant LIVE dragon activity, possible civil unrest, and bizarre rodent infestations. Y our mission should you accept: Make contact with the Discarded's 9-Nations Council. Establish inroads, discover what they know about this shared threat, and find a way to make a permanent bridge between our two planes that we may fight this enemy as a united front. Please note- Wayward All-Nations Council understands this to be a potentially lethal and possibly one-way endeavor, and promises to compensate any survivors or next of kin accordingly. Application Process- 2 Questionnaires & A Trial Run! Step 1- Please complete the application form for Wayward D&D Adventures via- THIS LINK! Form can be found embedded halfway down the page! Step 2- Once I have your answers, I will contact you via your provided email with a more detailed questionnaire on player preferences, character details, and playstyle. This may involve some back & forth. Step 3- Should everything look good after that, I'll work with you to set up a free "trial run" game to complete the interview process and see if our in-action playstyles are a fit. *Do note if you are joining a pre-existing group, there may be a slightly longer "trial period" beyond the first free game to determine if your style will mesh well with the existing team long-term. About The DM!- Hi there! Name's September. I'll be your story-pilot for this evening. Buckle up! We're in for a nerdy ride! Seriously though- I am a 40-something creative writer, critter, & avid roleplay enthusiast. My DM experience began a bit unconventionally, as I gleaned most of my chops running persistent story arcs for large groups of players (30-100) in a variety of MMORPGs over the course of ~15 yrs. I have however switched over to tabletop, and am LOVING it, as it enables a much more personal, and immersive story. I've been running table campaigns now for a little over a year & a half! Oh, & I am also an artist & graphic designer. All your home-drawn maps are-belong to me. :) Rates/Disclaimer- These games will require payment to the Game Master at a rate of $14 per player, per session, via Ko-Fi. The first "trial-run" game is always free. DnDBeyond is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. Why Paid?- A girl's gotta caffeinate! But more seriously, doing these campaigns as paid games lets me focus exclusively on delivering immersive and beautiful, personalized tales to my players. It also helps cover costs for reference materials & expenses (I have content-share for the legendary bundle on DnDBeyond and more!), as well as covers extensive prep time & labor making art! This rate includes for you: - one reliable 3 to 4hr game session weekly, access to the game's world-anvil wiki as it grows, as well as access to a thriving, small and friendly discord community of your fellow adventurers. AND! I am constantly seeking ways to improve & give my players even more, as time and resources allow! All told, I do my very best to make every session worth every penny. And I never ask for payment for our first "trial run." Roleplay is personal, and I strongly believe it's essential to ensure we are a good fit for each other before committing to a regular long term game. That said, I hope to hear from you! & I look forward to helping you craft -your- story.
