Roll20 Not Functioning

Today beginning at 12 noon ET, I tried to host Tombs of Annihilation for some friends.  Long story short, it was a major disappointment due to the incredibly response time of the game.  I played 3 sessions this past week in the evenings with no issues, although I never hosted the game. Is this issue common on Saturdays?  Does it have anything to do with the new dynamic lighting?  If i turn that off, then the players can see the entire dungeon.  Any suggestions for me to make Roll20 playable for our group? Thanks, John

LOTS of people on roll20 lately... could be causing some higher than normal strain on the system. You might try disabling dynamic lighting and simply using fog of war and the reveal tool to uncover what the characters discover.
Thanks Vince.  I will try that next time.  I will go in and delete the dynamic lighting lines too.

Also, it may be a well-known lag cause: Advanced Fog of War plus Global Illumination. It's a performance killer. Turning off one or the other can fix many lag situations.
