saving games

is there any way to save your games locally ?  to like back them up onto my own pc ?

No there is not. Many of us text based gamers tend to create everything on our computers then copy it to Roll20. Some of us even copy the chat archive and turn them into story book or game log.

i was more worried about maps with dynamic lighting, roll able tables , and macros . ive spent a lot of time on these things id hate to loose it !
You can make copies of games within Roll20 as backups (and/or "clean start" set ups). Pro subscribers can use the Transmogrifier to move individual elements (maps, characters, rollable tables, etc., but not Macros) from one of their games to another of their games.
