I have been DMing for so many years and more than a hundred players online and in-person. About Me I have been DMing in quite a few different settings and systems as can be seen by my profile. I have been official DM for the University of Pretoria for about 3 years now. My DMing style is more focused on story and characters then very hard mechanics. I try to immerse my player into the world they are a part of. I have always enjoyed studying the lore of Faerûn and over the last past couple of years, I have been come quite well versed in the nuts and bolts of the world. Why Pay per Play The points are quite simple. If a player pay they are more invested in the campaign and are unlike to leave, ensuring that it is extremely unlikely that a session needs to be cancelled because nobody can play. Secondly, it helps the DMs with the running cost of the campaign from the cost of books and features that are uses well as the time DM can spend on the campaign and if you break it down the cost is $2.50 per hour for custom handcrafted entertainment. DM spend between 60-90 minutes per hour of play preparing for each session. Meaning on average your DM spends 8-10 hours weekly to get you a session. tl;dr Being a DM is expensive and time-consuming (10$ per session) Please note that Roll20 is not responsible for any payment transactions and cannot enforce any private arrangements. If you have any questions feel free to ask.
