So, the great news is Roll20 has lots of options, to do exactly what you are looking for. The bad news is that Roll20 has LOTS OF OPTIONS. It's a two-edged sword. The learning curve is high, but spend some time, it'll be worth it. Before you jump into the campaign, in the Settings tab, change your "Default Sheet Settings" for "Roll Queries" to "Never Roll Advantage" (setting to "Query" will just annoy you more). 3D dice are fun, especially on that 9th Level Fireball, but don't RELY on it. I seen dice lean against each other and not "settle", but the roll was counted properly in the window. > Also, to keep my rolls secret, do I turn the Game Settings to Always Whisper rolls and then turn individual PC sheets to never whisper? Yes. But there is an advanced option. Remember I said there are LOTS OF OPTIONS? If you are not a sadistic GM, you most likely just want to normally be transparent but only keep SOME rolls secret, like a 5th Kobold they didn't see taking a shot from a hill. In those instances, make a Macro. Inside the game, on the Settings tab (the "gear icon"), make two new macros called "Talk-to-Myself-On" (/talktomyself) and "Talk-To-Myself-Off" (/talktomyself off). Make them Global Macros, and they will be on your button bar at the bottom left of your screen. This way, you can roll MOST of your rolls in front of them, and then use the Talk-To-Myself to hide your roll (don't forget to turn Talk-To-Myself-Off so you can talk to them again).
