API/Plugin system?

Is there (or are there plans for) any API or plugin system so I could write extensions/plugins for this (a map generator, for example)?

The tavern is dundjinni, the houses are pyromancers, I'm thinking about making the trading post in Blender when I have a bit more time. Enjoy! :) PS: I didn't place any doors since I felt it's up to you if they're open or not, what type they are or even if there are any for some openings.
