I Can't Show Monster Rolls to My Players

I'm running Dungeon of the Mad Mage and none of my enemy attack rolls or damage are shown to the players. They are in yellow boxes as if whispered to the GM. For another campaign I created my own adventure and in another game I am running Curse of Strahd, and all enemy damage rolls are in blue boxes and shown to the players.  I think I can go in and edit each monster entry in the module to not whisper to GM, but is there a universal setting so I don't have to change each entry?  I've tried Googling and searching Help, but can't find anything that covers the entire game.

Outside your game, click on the setting button and go to the setting page. The fourth entry is the game's default setting. Look in there and set it not to whisper. You then have to go inside the game and click on your setting tab then scroll all the way down to the bottom and click on apply default settings. This will make all new journals (character sheet) not whisper by default and make all current journals (character sheets) not whisper.
When I clicked on my out of game settings on the 4th entry, all options overlaid on top of the existing page, creating a hot mess of a page that was very hard to read. I tried my best, but what I could read was only about setting up tokens (HP bars, vision, etc) and page defaults (enabling fog of war, etc). I saw nothing about whispering rolls. There is one under the NPC sheet entry, but that was already set to "Never Whisper."  And then when I went to apply default settings within the game, it only let me check on Roll Queries and a couple other options not pertinent to the GM whispering rolls.  I don't understand why this is the only game I've run that is doing this as default. I hate this feature.
I had the same problem the other night, I simply opened each monster individually as it's turn came up and changed to never whisper.  Once set up they continued to work. Try going into the monsters sheets in the journal tab.  If the master that the token refers back to is set, then it should remain fixed.

Because of the way the sheet is set up, I have heard some reports of folks finding success with this issue by Setting it to "Always Whisper", Applying changes in game, and then setting to "Never Whisper" and applying again. It might be best to try this on a test game first.
