The Rolemaster Standard System sheet is being updated. No data should be lost. Opt-in Automation is being added and the layout will be changing. The sheet is going from: to Layout wise, the notes tab is moving down into the PC portion of the sheet rather than being a separate selection on top. Languages have been moved to the Skills tab with summary boxes on the Character tab. A third armor set has been added to the Combat tab and a checkbox allows one to copy an armor set to the worn category with one click. A new spot allows input of conditional defenses for easy tracking.: To help combat lag, the skills tab only allows for one skill section to be expanded at a time; it will collapse the rest of the sections when one is toggled open. A new notes field has been added for each skill. The equipment tab has amount and total weight added for each item as well as location categories. The weight for each of the 6 location categories (Armor/Clothing, Worn/Carried, Backpack, Storage1, Storage2, and Other/No Location) is calculated, and check boxes allow one to easily include each category in encumbrance penalties if desired. Makes it easy to remove the backpack weight if the backpack is dropped during combat, for example.: An Experience tab is added for tracking experience (and simple session notes) which will calculate a running total for you. The xp from that section can be set to copy to the main sheet if desired.: A new Setup tab has been added with places for setting up preferred pronouns for use in macros, a toggle to change from variable stat bonus for skills based on skills to variable stat bonus for skills based on categories, toggles to choose which auto calculations for the sheet to handle for you as well as a toggle to try to copy offensive bonuses from the skills tab to the combat tab, an area to set up values for encumbrance penalty scaling, coin weight, and open ended roll triggers, as well as skill rank progression for up to 2 custom rank progressions and Body Development and Power Point Development.: A new macro tab holds a bunch of preset all-in-one macros for stat, resistance, and skill rolls.: In the NPC sheet, a new input tab will take the specified json format and populate the sheet for you to make npc creation easier. An example Test Animal is included to provide the json format. Also included are inputs for offspring, carry capacity, and riding bonus.: You can see the changes on my test bed here: https://app.roll20.net/join/4174018/Hx8C4A . This game has vault access turned on if you wish to import a character to see how the changes will affect your campaign; if you contact me, I can promote you to GM and/or restore permissions to the characters so they can be examined. Pro users can download the updated files from GitHub and run them as a custom sheet here: https://github.com/Roll20/roll20-character-sheets/tree/master/Rolemaster-Standard-System . If you have not run a custom sheet before, you will need the charsheet_RMSS_fullcalc_RollTemplate.html file for your html tab, the charsheet_RMSS.css file for the css tab, and the translation.json file (or your preferred language from the translations folder if translations have been submitted) for the translation tab. The new version of the sheet will go live after the middle of May to allow for additional testing and bug squashing. Happy Gaming!
If I do try the custom sheet route will the newer fully tested version replace in mid May?

Not unless you manually change back to the one in the drop-down at that point in time. Once you go to a custom sheet, the sheets in the repository no longer directly affect you.
Can this sheet be skill formated to RM2?

Depends on what you want. The sheet is designed for RMSS so the RMSS skills are hard-coded into the sheet, but if you don't turn on skill calculations, you can just collapse them and ignore them and use the repeating section at the bottom of the page to put in any skills you want. You will have to do the rank calculations etc by hand that way, however.
How do I add a new skill not contempled in the actual scheet? Example: Artistic, Passive --> Body Painting
Thanks for all your work on that! It looks great. I suspect you have no interest in making a RM2/Classic or RMU sheet, but do you know of any work related to that? I'm just wondering if anyone has ever tried to make sheets or tools for these other editions (there are ones for Fantasy Grounds, for example).

Thanks very much Diana. There was someone on the ICE forums that offered $1,000 to anyone who would make a Roll20 Sheet. Unfortunately, the forums are down right now (and have been for weeks) due to technical issues. But once they are back, I will post the link in case anyone wants to take up that offer.

I can get in touch with that person, if you like. But as a heads up - he was looking for a char sheet for RMU specifically. If anyone want to take him up on that, PM me, and I will get you in touch with him.

Thanks Pantsworth. I would like to add that I can contribute $100 to that fund as well -- I would absolutely love to have an RMU character sheet. Do you remember who it was on the forums? I just can't remember, and with the forums down, I can't check. But someone else just PMed me who might be interested in the offer.
Hello, First of all many thanks for this good job. Do you have any idea when the present sheet will be updated with the new one. Will the operation be fully automatic and tranparent ? Thank for your feedback.

I plan on submitting the latest code (some sheetworker updates) to GitHub for staging this week; it should then go live next week. After I've verified it's live, I'll submit the change to switch the new sheet with the older sheet which would go live the following week. I will probably keep a dismiss-able note at the top which will say something like: "Welcome to the new sheet, please see the combat tab to make sure your attacks are set up correctly and the set up tab to enable the calculations you desire to have active." (exact wording not yet decided). The json file with the images and such will also be updated. I might also add the ability to toggle some of the setup from outside the sheet (can't remember right now if that ends up under the Game Default Settings or if it ends up down in the Character Sheet Template area, both on the Campaign Settings page). I haven't yet decided which settings should go there beyond the PC/NPC switch, and the switch for Skill bonuses based on Categories vs individual Skills. I was planning on leaving the auto-calculation settings on the settings tab only since turning them on will recalculate those sections and that's something that is probably best left for each individual sheet rather than the whole campaign (and NPC's don't need the auto calculations turned on at all). Once Roll20 has accepted and merged the files, they should automatically switch for everyone. I'm not sure what transparency I can provide? Beyond me pushing the files to GitHub, Roll20 handles the rest.

Can anyone give me the formulas for calculating base movement rate (stride), running horizontal jump, standing horizontal jump, running vertical jump, and standing vertical jump for RMSS in centimeters (or meters)? I'm trying to put in the ability to change from inches to centimeters but have not been able to find these formulas. Thanks!

It looks like the character sheet has now gone live. Please let me know if you find any issues that my group did not. Happy Gaming.

The ICE forums are back up. Here is that reference to a poster named Marc offering a $1,000 bounty to anyone who will make an RMU character sheet for Roll20: http://www.ironcrown.com/ICEforums/index.php?topic=19781.msg233427#msg233427 Since you might need to sign in to view it, I will post the brief text here: Need Roll20 character sheet programming paying $1k US « on: March 04, 2020, 03:09:14 PM » If anybody is interested in this it would make RMU much easier to play using roll 20 and playing in general. If your good with HTML or Roll20 join the Rolemaster Discord server. I am willing to pay $1k US upon completion. I can also help with imputing data and getting similar function setup after code is done, i can also assist in any data entry needed. I have a layout from paper (word/PDF) i would like to mirror. [ https://discord.gg/6RP8Wyn I will make my own thread about this, so as not to further derail Diana's thread about the RMSS sheet. Thanks very much Diana for your patience, and your great RMSS sheet!
I'm not sure if this will help with the RMSS sheet, but we are trying to get the powers that be add in support for low-open ended percentile rolls. The thread is here, and we could use any bumps people can give: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8852087/double-open-ended-rolls/?pageforid=8852087#post-8852087

*nod* the current system does not handle open ended down rolls the way Rolemaster does at all.
