Got some time on your hands, adventurer? Middle Earth needs you to thwart the return of the Dark Lord! I would like to start a new One Ring campaign to run for as long as we're all stuck inside, and maybe beyond that if circumstances allow. 100% new player friendly. If you've never played in The One Ring system and don't know anything at all about Lord of the Rings but still want to hunt some Orcs and offend some stodgy Elves, that is totally fine. I have a bunch of short campaigns ready to go right away, and all can easily be adapted into a longer epic if a gritty fellowship turns out to be allergic to retirement. I am GMT+10 (Brisbane), but very flexible with time. I'd prefer to run more than one session per week so we can get through more material before quarantines start lifting. My experience is that 4 hours is about the right length for a satisfying session, but I'm flexible with that too. Post here or PM if you're interested. “Many are the strange chances of the world,' said Mithrandir, 'and help oft shall come from the hands of the weak when the Wise falter.” ― J.R.R. Tolkien, The Silmarillion A little about The One Ring: The One Ring tends to be a roleplay-heavy system. Stories grow around the motives and choices of the players. Our story takes place after the events of the Hobbit, and before The Lord of the Rings. It's a dark and brutal time for Middle Earth, and increasingly so with the passage of time. Players don't play as Wizards or Elf princes. You might be a merchant from Dale seeking a fabled treasure cache, an apprentice Dwarven blacksmith who wants to restore her family's honour, or a simple Woodman hunter concerned with mysteriously thinning deer herds and poisoned streams. Whoever you are or whatever your motives are for leaving your home and seeking a life of adventure, a growing shadow looms over all of Middle Earth, and none can truly know what effect even the most insignificant creature might have on very great events. Characters fight with steel, not magic. Death is permanent. There's no complex "alignment," just light and dark. You live with valour and honour, or fall to the influence of the Enemy. And lots of other great stuff!
This definitely sounds intriguing, I would love to be apart of a team in the LOTR setting. Though to be honest, I have never tried the One Ring system.

If you let me know days/times that would work for you, I would be happy to set something up for you to try out a game.
I currently live in Pacific Standard Time zone but have an open schedule and have flexible hours. So what time and day works best for you?
Hi! I'm in Hawaii, but have flexibility until quarantine ends. Would love to play a few games with you and hopefully schedules align even after quarantine. LotR DND sounds amazing!
