Will Selecting Feats via the Charactermancer ever be available?

I was just watching a video on Treant Monks' channel about the Echo Knight - and he went to a clip of him adding the sentinal feat to his build on DND Beyond via a drop down menu. As a new pro-subscriber to Roll 20, I'm frankly a little perplexed that this functionality has not been addressed.  A google search returns a result from over a year ago saying it's drag and drop from the compendium but doesn't adjust any features on the character sheet if it adds any. How come DND Beyond has mastered this but Roll 20 hasn't? I like this platform overall, but I was hoping for better.

How come DND Beyond has mastered this but Roll 20 hasn't? DNDBeyond is single-mindedly dedicated to D&D5E, and it's not even(yet) a full VTT, while Roll20 is a system-agnostic VTT platform, with heavy support for 5E and other popular systems. Quite a difference. But to answer your question, yes, eventually. They could have opted to make a quicker, "just add feat as a block in the Feature section of the sheet and create no automation/integration", but apparently they have chosen to take a longer time to do it properly on the first go rather than later remaking how Feats work later. I went ahead and submitted this question to the April Community Roundtable, as I'm also curious of the timetable for that.

I've always been curious why you can select a feat at character creation, but not any time during level up.
