I’m looking to playtest an RPG that’s rules-light and suitable for beginners, based on a hack of the Cthulhu Dark system. The setting is after a zombie plague has ravaged the world, but survivors have established enclaves in cities and other areas. Truckers in decked-out vehicles transport needed goods from place to place, but have to stay alert from not only zombies but rival truckers, who may try to hijack their goods. The big corporations can be especially ruthless. In the playtest scenario, your team of truckers are down on their luck, and things look bleak - when they see a helicopter crash into an area near downtown Seattle (a lawless area heavily affected by the plague). You’re sure anyone rich enough to have access to a copter, well they must have something really valuable in there. Can you get in and get out before a rival grabs the prize, or the zombies overwhelm you all? I’m looking for 2-4 players, preferably 18+ years of age due to the fairly dark theme. Scheduling is pretty flexible, late afternoon or evening Pacific Time works, preferably on a Monday, Tuesday, Thursday or Saturday. If you’d like to see the rules before committing to the game let me know.
