Who am I? 30Y/O Male Military, living in Eastern US timezone, been playing for about 9 years now. Experience in 4E, 3.5, Pathfinder and HEROES. I prefer to play front line combatants, I hate long deliberation between party members which tend to make me fairly 'leader'ish in my group play mostly because I've played with too many new players who don't know what to do. What am I looking for? I prefer sessions to be ~65% roleplay, although if the group and GM are good I don't mind if a session has no combat at all, I usually prefer to have at least one fight in a session. I've been burned out of GMing after running several groups over the course of the past 2 years or so. But could run a few modules or part of an adventure path if needed. Otherwise I prefer serious over comedic (I prefer the table talk to be the comedy not the role play), good over evil, and grandiose over trivial. When? EST (UTC/GMT-7) Friday's late night, Saturday anytime or Sundays ending before 2200. Thanks to all the GMs out there that put in time and trouble trying to create good fun for the rest of us, and I look forward to hearing from you. Edit: I have a mic, and G+, skype, etc capable.
Hello Xan, I'm a 28 year old in the mountain time zone. I've done some Pathfinder Society gming in the past along with a sprinkle of AP gming and a few sessions with other systems here and there. I'm not the most experienced GM, but I'm eager to make things fun for everyone where I can. I'm looking to set up a group on the weekend, leaning very heavily to Sunday afternoons. The only catch is, I plan on doing Society scenarios and sanctioned modules for the foreseeable future using the Pathfinder Society rules. I see this as a good way to start a group, as people can be added or dropped without much of an impact on the story. Certainly, if we got a very regular group together we could talk about doing a proper AP. I prefer GMing over playing, so I think your offer to GM once every blue moon would work well. I certainly expect to run most of the games, but seeing how my progressing character actually plays could be fun from time to time. Anyway, let me know what you think.
