Using Token-Mod to change bar position

Hello, I have been having a problem. I created a Macro that I would like to use to automatically assign a token to a character and replace the previously assigned token, however, every time i do this the location of the token bars is reset to the top of the token. I usually have the bars set to bottom overlapping, and I tried setting the default to be that for the campaign, to no avail. Is there any way to use Token-Mod to make change the location of the bars?

Unfortunately not.  Despite requests, for some reason the developers have not given API access to a few newer token features, including the ability to set the bar position.  

There is something about the implementation that prevents it currently from being exposed.  I heard from the devs that they have to make some changes to make it possible and that it is definitely on their radar.
