endless loading

i am getting a endless loading screen on the app now to so for me all of roll20 is broken
Same here.
Hi! I'm also having the issue but am the only person in my campaign who is having this problem. I JUST signed up for Pro too. The only place I can load it is on the website through my phone's chrome app. Neither my Chrome, Firefox, or the app is working for me.
Hello Darkmeatbag, Please carefully work through to the first three steps of our guide to Solving Technical Issues : Step 1: Make sure to use the right browser Please check if these issues persist when using both Chrome and Firefox. Step 2: Ensure that there are no extensions/addons interfering with Roll20 Please disable all add-ons/extensions. Step 3: Clear your cache If none of the above succeeds, please have your player thoroughly work through Step 4. (Don't forget the complete Console Log!) If you need additional information on how to capture a console log we have additional information here: Submitting a Console Log in Firefox Submitting a Console Log in Chrome Thank you!
I'm having the same issue. I'm using the Roll20 App not logging in through a browser. I get connected and logged into the app, but when I try to join a game I get an endless loading screen. The buttons at the bottom change colors when touched, but don't seem to do something.
If any of you are using a PiHole or other url blocking on routers / anti-virus, check your blacklists for "browser.sentry-cdn.com", Roll20 added a dependency to it with the last release and the site does appear on PiHole gravity lists. if the URL is blocked you won't get a script delivered and will end up trapped on the loading screen.
Same issues for me in the android app. No url blockers, just the app at an endless load screen. Worked well Monday the 13th and hasn't worked at all for me since at least Friday the 17th. Still endlessly loading.
Had this issue yesterday in multiple games, also kept crashing in game, and had very slow movement of tokens. I turned off the new dynamic lighting feature and went legacy, this seems to have taken care of it for me. Using latest version of chrome.
Also having this issue, no pihole blockers or ad blockers whatsoever. Just endless loading. The strange thing is roll20 works fine on my laptop, only it will not load on my PC which uses the same wifi network.
Hello everyone! At the moment, Roll20 is optimized for the latest desktop versions of Google Chrome and Mozilla Firefox. As a reminder, our app is not compatible with smartphones, only tablets. Beyond that, our app is currently going through a significant update, utilizing feedback like you provided, to provide better support, compatibility, and experience. You can more about those plans in our Blog post here . Of course, we will also keep you posted once we have even more information to provide! Apologies for any confusion.
i have the roll20 app on my tablet
For what seems like years everything was fine. If it was like this when I started I would not have subscribed. I have tried 3 different browsers, I have cleared cache, I am nothing but frustrated. In fact it is so bad that I went out to buy a new computer today so I can run my game this weekend, even that has not worked out. The stores have nothing in stock that I can afford, I don't have 800 dollars to buy a new system. I am about to cancel my membership and try just skypeing with a web cam so everyone can see what i am doing. So far that (i.e. Skype) still works. Recording network activity… Perform a request or hit F5 to record the reload. I have tried 3 different browsers, I have cleared cache, I am nothing but frustrated. <big snip> Something in your setup is shutting down "cdn", which is a problem according to this post: https://app.roll20.net/forum/post/8509287/cant-load-through-on-any-updated-browser/?pageforid=8511490#post-8511490 If you can correct that, maybe things will work for you again. If it doesn't, your last block of errors shows firebase as something being shut down at your end. Firebase is important to Roll20 running as well, so if that doesn't clear up when you get the cdn bits allowed, you will need to address that also.
Hello, To keep things consolidated and organized, we would ask that you please refer to the main thread for this issue seen here - it will have the most recent communications and updates from us. As such, we’re going to go ahead and close this post. Thank you!
